wasn't canyon shipping under $100 around 6 months ago? or a similar number that's quite insignificant in the context of their bike price?

  • Seems daft that these bikes are shipped from Taiwan > Germany > Australia , moot point for me as Grizl AL been out stock forever and not restocking till "May to Aug", maybe they need the time to search for cranks that dont fall off. ;)

    • So that it can be "made" (assembled) in Germany. I'm glad to have snapped a near new grizl off FB marketplace around a year ago tho

  • Canyon are best bang for buck on the MTB side. This makes it even better….

  • They have 10-15% off sales at various points throughout the year too. If you are not in a hurry and are looking at something over $3k it could be worth the wait.

  • Looks like it's ~$170 discount, since I think the standard shipping charge of $199 normally includes the cost of the bike box, whereas now they are charging it separately.
(Unless they changed the way they charged in the past year or so)

  • I bought a bike from them last September.

Shipping was $228.90, great deal if the bike you want is in stock.

stock levels of the bikes i am interested in is pretty dire

  • I'm just about to return my bike this weekend. I wonder if shipping is free in other direction as well (back to Canyon)?

    • I was under the impression they paid return shipping if you were not happy. Could be wrong though, maybe it's changed. I know Rapha does this for example.

      • I hope so too, haven't heard back from them yet
