  • Ahhh yes a PC Building Simulator classic.

    Worth it over 3600CL18?

    • Im in the same boat, have 2 x 8GB 3600CL, but I need 32GB anyway so thinking this is probably the way to go.

32GB more to be fed to the browser! Yay!

      Or Hogwarts legacy lol

  • Quick question. Are they AMD compatible?

    • +1

Yes, while it's always best to check specific compatibility with your Mobo, you shouldn't have any issues.

I bought the same RAM for an AMD build that I am close to finishing, so I had the same question.

    • My AMD build's using four F4-3200C16-16GVK sticks, which I assume is what's in this kit. Running with XMP settings with no issue.

Edit: sorry mine are 3200, this post is for 3600.

  • Is there much of a difference between this RAM and this one?

    • about $25

CL18 vs Cl16. The CL16 (in the Amazon link) carry a premium.

  • I've been running these on first 1700x.. Then 5800x.. Been rock solid.. Had some corsair 3600 cas 16 and it was bad for me.

    • So they work with AMD?

      • yes, this is (imo) by far the best value ever for set and forget ram for AMD.

finally, a decent deal on 3600 c16. perfect set and forget for ryzen 5600, 5800, etc etc. thanks heaps for the share (my first post!)

    • follow up: these work an absolute treat with my 5800x on my motherboard (tomahawk x570). the computer feels silky smooth now. I have achieved a great price/perf ratio with this computer.

bit more detail: dropped these into my x570 tomahawk. reset the bios to defaults by unplugging psu, and taking out cmos battery for 30 seconds. i then booted into the bios and it had auto enabled 3600mhz with c16 and the listed timings (XMP profile 1).

  • Love Ripjaws RAM, never had an issues over the years

    Shame about the oversized heatsink.
