  • What's the item code? Thanks.

    • +1

Item code is 0385740, not available online. Also I tried stock levels online but could not be found.

      • +1

Ta. I will call my local to see if it is available or not.

        Edit: none around my location.

  • +1

    Thanks op

  • +17

    Wow! 9 AA batteries!

    • +48

Finally a device to utilise all the Eneloops we've all bought and collected over the years.

      • +1

now you'll need more Eneloops don't miss the next deal!

      • I havent bought any

    • +14

It's made by Energizer who I think might have an interest in you using lots of batteries.

    • Really impractical since the current depends on the least charged cell so the fewer links in that chain the better

  • -2

    Not in my local stores

    • Unfortunately I can't check online for the availability of the product

      • Shows based on item code in power pass app almost none around

        • Link please
Edit: I don't have power pass to check

        • +1

My powerpass shows me $19. Low stock

  • +5

Maribyrnong and Altona has some stock.

  • +6

Great deal but couldn’t be arsed with that many batteries. Have an upvote anyway.

  • Anyone able to check Taree/Forster stores on power pass please? Apps telling me I am already using it on two devices after getting new phone weeeee

    • +1

      O0s. :-(

      • +2

        Thanks 👍

  • Can someone that has access to Powerpass help us with stock availability? Just to help fellow Ozbargainers. Btw I haven't bought either of the torches I have posted.

    • +16

Mate, relax. Don't take it personally because there isn't any stock near you. This post it's not just about you but for everyone else. You can Report the post and if Mods decide it's insufficient stock then they can remove it. As I said before, I don't have access to Powerpass. I don't get the negging and the nagging. Chill.

    • +5

      Settle down ben shapiro

  • +2

Edwardstown SA are showing stock for Adelaide people looking

  • can someone check around EPPING NSW Please if there's stock ?

    • Everywhere else nearby oos but looks like gladsville may have a couple but lists as $2 ?!?

      Id suggest calling first

      • +1

Say what? $2? If true that's a steal.

      • +2

I was in Gladesville this morning.
        Couldn’t find these anywhere.
Asked the Bunnings staff to check their little palm pilot and it’s showing 8 on a strip in the roofing aisle but nothing there.

I had to run to site but maybe they’re somewhere in an aisle. I wouldn’t count on it though.

  • +7

Surely a 18640 torch would end up being the better option rather than 9x batteries?

    • +3

Of course, but 20 bux is 20 bux

    • +1

Eneloops are free and plentiful for a true ozbargainer.

      • +2

So you would need 18 eneloops to be able to rotate to new batteries when they run out, then having to recharge 9 batteries…

I think I'll pass and get one with a built in rechargeable battery instead

      • +2

Charging 9 at a time is a bit of a pain though.

      • +1

I paid for all my eneloops. Five finger discounts?

    • Price is everything for some people, esp those sucked in by the ridiculous RRP.

  • +2

    is this available anywhere australia?

    • -2

Seems mostly to be ghost stock and either na or oos

  • +1

I saw it last year Nov, there are a lot in stock

  • +7

For $20 it's not bad. $117? Probably only to rip off those who have no idea what a $120ish torch is supposed to look like.

  • +2

Showing as $5 with powerpass for me

    • Bargain!!!

    • Which stores in Sydney have stock?

      • If you have Powerpass you can check. Unfortunately I don't have one. Or you can call your local if they have any stock. The article number is 0385740 .

  • -1

So did anyone manage to get one? If so where?

  • Any in stock in Mornington, Tas?

  • +1

Showing as in stock at Underwood but none on shelf currently.

  • +2

9 is an annoying number. I usually buy batteries in packs of 8.

  • That much draw on little batteries like AA won't shorten their lives? I don't get the point, other than Energizer wishing you to burn through batteries?

  • +2

Weird pricing, i am seeing retail $20, powerpass $14 or $5 depending on stores.

    • How are you finding it in powerpass? I use the I/N listed above, says it can't be found

    • Stores can set their own 'deleted price override', to clear stuff without having to individually ticket items

  • Powerpass app doesnot allow go beyond checkout and continuously gives error message that we dont detect you in store. Looks like online order is not possible. You have to be in store to order

    • Maybe time to go old school, give them a call and ask if they have any stock.
