  • Curios, is there much point in this over a swisse men's ultivite?

It probably has more of each vitamin/mineral, but will it make a difference to our health?

      IMHO,swisse men's ultivite is better.

it really depends on personal preference
Its only a supplement, you still need to eat 5 serves of fruit and veges to get your daily vitamin requirements.
The supplement is meant as a backup just in case you don't get all the daily values needed, so dont rely on a supplement to give ya all your daily requirements.

    • I prefer Swisse simply because you only need to take 1 tablet a day, as opposed to 3 a day for this. If you're busy it's easy to forget, and also a hassle if you're out a lot

  • Opti-Men is a GREAT multivitamin. More effective than anything you will find in Woolies/Coles etc.

    • +1

How does one measure the effectiveness of a multi vitamin? Have you run a blind test on yourself to see if there's a difference between the two?

  • +1

Opti-Men uses poor, cheap forms of vitamins and minerals with low levels of bio-availability.

Can someone tell me what the difference is between this and a cheap $5 multi from Aldi?

    • I prettier label

  • bloody good deal. search for vitamins that cost $10.01 - anything you want, and take $10 off, and you have a deal. Shipping is by UPS, just $3. Only thing bad about this place is that they dont accept Australian Paypal, but you're welcome to take your chances with credit card payment. Seeing that my supplements only cost $3 dollars and $11 respectively from Optimum Nutrition, it would be a steal if they do actually process your order properly and if not, i can always chase my bank. now i am eyeing that tongkat ali or horny goat's weed which could be bought for just $3 bucks…hmmm……

    • doesnt not allowed shipping that goat weed to australia

  • nice…

  • Op is gonna get a lot of discounts from this lol

  • I have been alternating AST Multi Pro 32x and Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men for the past 10 years.

Swisse is the best locally available one.

    Centrum is garbage

      How do you know?

  • It might be worth checking out Bodybuilding.com and go to the store there. Its uneconomical to import the big tubs of protein etc but the smaller stuff such as BCAAs,vitamins etc I've saved a packet even factoring shipping in.

Tip, don't change the store to Australian, leave it as the US store then at checkout just select Australia as the delivery destination. It will tell you if you have anything in your basket that you can't bring in to Aus.

  • Still waiting for my order, has any one else got theirs yet? Ordered on the 23/7/12.
    Cheers
