Tbh, I’ve not used these but to those looking for clothes pegs, I’d strongly recommend the stainless steel ones from Aldi

I bought a couple of bags of their 316 marine grade stainless steel ones for about $7 a bag iirc and they are fantastic

    Same as these ones https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/707884

I’d never go back to the wooden or plastic ones

100%. They last forever as opposed to this plastic waste.

Yeah I got sick of all our plastic ones disintegrating after a year of use and wooden ones just snapping constantly, bought some stainless steel ones and never looked back.

    • Curious about transitioning to these gradually as plastic ones need replacing. How long have you had them for? How close do you live to the coast? Do you hang clothes outside?

Reason I ask is I’d need to buy 4-5packs (usually do big family loads on the same day) so it’s a relatively big investment (for pegs). I’ve had the experience of some things that claim to be ‘stainless’ as not really being stainless. I’m about 500m from the ocean and often leave clothes in the line for 24-48hrs so am hoping they’d stand up to that and remain stainless so not to end up marking clothes.

I live inland so salty ocean breeze isnt a consideration for me

I’ve had for about 12 months and use them outside (I just leave them on the line) they still look like new

Tbh I wish I got on to them sooner

From the reviews and my reading the 316 stainless steel makes a difference

        • Thanks!

    • Absolutely, i use the same s/s 316 pegs on all my clothes. I live 10 meters from the beach and they have not rusted since i got them 2-3 years ago. Negging this deal cos it's rubbish, you're better off spending a bit more on something that lasts much much longer, plus they look so much better than faded, brittle coloured plastic

    • Any comments on these? SS 40pk for $9

I don't have any experience with them but in my opinion, if they don't state the grade of stainless then they're going to be a cheaper alloy that will rust.

      • You can get a 120 pack for $17 on eBay. 304 grade though.

Could they maybe find some less ugly colours?

    • +11

The colour of pegs has never been a consideration for me. Perhaps I’m missing out!

    The tyranny of pegs ….

  • I'm not a fan of Reva regular size pegs. The jumbo ones are great for pants and jeans.
For regular plastic pegs, the home brand ones at kmart/target are good.

  • Not a bad deal. Used them for 3 years and they still look new so they do the job pretty well IMO.

    Valentine's day gift sorted!

Yup, definitely trumps the bottle of dishwashing liquid that I bought for mine..

  • These pegs use to be be good quality when they were Made in Australia and owned by Reva.

Decor has since purchased Reva and has moved production of to China.
