[VIC] Pinnacle 4 Tier Heavy Duty Adjustable Shelf 1830H x 1200W x 410D $90 (Was $199) @ Bunnings, Altona

590

Was in bunnings looking for garage shelves and found some 4 TIER HEAVY DUTY ADJUSTABLE SHELF 1830H X 1200W X 410D shelves on clearance down from $199 to $129 each. Good discount and the two of them together gave me exactly the length I required, they are not as deep as the 1800W version but depends on what you are after. Not listed online but seen in-store at Altona Bunnings Victoria so suspect other stores might still have some units.

can it be used outdoor for planting pots?

    • +1

Yes I bought one for that purpose

You can move the shelves up and down to fit your pots heights

believe so, the all-metal design makes it perfect for that application since you can water and not worry about damage to otherwise timber shelves, super easy to assemble, took me less than 1 hour to assemble two with one person helping and a rubber mallet.

  • Can you place anything on the top shelf? I mean the top of the rack?

    • It's adjustable, you can lower the top rack and use it for whatever you like

    • U can. As long as u are tall enough :). The shelf is 500kg/tier 2000kg/unit rated.

    • yes

this https://www.bunnings.com.au/pinnacle-1830-x-1820-x-540mm-4-t…, is for $178, but it is 1.5 * wider, so its like buying 1.5 of the one you listed, so its cheaper per space.

it also has 130mm more depth, and it has 4 shelves too and each shelf can hold 625kg, vses 500kg on the one you listed.

Am i missing something here? is the one i just shared a better deal or is there more to it?

    • That is a better deal, but u need a larger garage.

      • +2

true, also the 1.2m wide will be alot more easier to transport home

    • Damn, $296 in Tas :(

    • +1

Just assembled two of these wider units. The extra depth means you can fit 4-5 50l storage containers per shelf.

    • yup agree, this is a great price if in stock, my store had none left but others did apparently, the size is good but for me I wanted exactly 2.4m, deeper also so better for some.

If you hit the "shop now" button it searches for 0387216 on the Bunnings website, so I assume that's the product number. No results though, and doesn't find anything on nrby.in either :(

Edit: just called and there's none at Ringwood, but the guy said there's heaps at the"bigger stores", Nunawading, box hill, etc. Will go after work and see if the price matches. The number I quoted above appears to be the correct item number.

Edit2: yep, correct item number, you can call a store and they can use 0387216 to check stock. 26 in stock at Nunawading at $129 each.

  • Are these on discount at other stores? Eg sa?

If you're keen, and assuming Bunnings uses the same item code across the nation, you can use the information from the previous comment to ring the Bunnings closest to you to check it out:

    • assume so

not much of this 1200mm width version avail in Sydney.. :(

  • There are some at $129 in Herrisdale Bunnings WA, should be nationwide

  • Thanks! Was after these ones - which are 410mm deep. Box Hill, Vic has about 20 of them just near registers - $129.

Thanks, still plenty at Box hill. Tried Nunawading but there was one with a messed up box

      • Also tried Nunawading and they didn't have any that I could see. The one with the messed up box was one of the 5 tier wooden shelf ones. Heading to Box Hill shortly.

  • Nunawading said it showed in stock on their app but with no store location, one guy said they may have been "sent back"? So I guess act fast on this one, might be getting recalled or something.

Still dozens of these at Bunnings Rocklea (Brisbane) yesterday. They're not in the usual shelving aisle, but in a stack near the front of the store marked clearance.

  • can vouch for these shelves as well made and easy to assemble, very happy with my purchase.

they are not the deepest which is my only complaint, try to get the 50cm+ deep version if you can find it (is also longer 1.8m+)
