I bought these (well very similar, but with stickers instead of printed) and they are HEAVY. 560grams with no food in them. They are good and seal up well but just be careful of the weight if buying for kids.
is it me or is that expensive?
It's very expensive for blow molded plastic. I paid $20 from Kmart or target or something each which is more reasonable, they are exactly the same mold, perhaps the plastic is different quality but I highly doubt that, probably the same ABS or PP they're all using.
This is an American brand and they design lunch boxes specifically for kids. They are on the dearer side but they hold up very well over time.
Designed in USA but still coming from the same factory in China? Where’s the bargain here?
