beware that if you miss the delivery it will take forever for them to redeliver as its fulfilled by a 3rd party company not Samsung, and apparently Samsung has no means to get in touch with this 3rd party other than sending them messages (CS is reluctant to call the 3rd party company but will happily escalate it through their internal system which does absolutely nothing to speed things up).

I was stung by that (15 days of back and forth communication with Samsung and they still cant give me an ETA of redelivery) and have to cancel the order and buy something else from TGG. Refund will/may take another 30 days so buy at your own risk.

    • What a cluster duck.

      Sort it out, Samsung.

    • Many people and I are in same situation as you. I should have checked Samsung FB visitors posts before I bought my washer.

At checkout, I chose 14Feb for delivery but delivery company changed the date to 10Feb with a text informing me at 9Feb evening. I would be at work on 10Feb so no one at home. There is no way to contact the delivery company. On 10Feb, delivery driver called me saying coming in 15mins time. I told him to give me a minute and I would call him back because I was going to check if my neighbour was at home to help me to receive the washer. When I called the delivery driver back pretty straight away after within 1 minute, he told me he cancelled the job and asked to wait for rescheduling. This is when the real nightmare started.

Samsung CS is horrible. They can’t give me the delivery company contact, just told me to wait 2-10 business days for someone to call me to rebook the delivery date. I made a few calls to CS, still the same reply. The worse thing is after 14Feb, I called in and the CS told me their system said my washer has beed delivered. I told her this is not true which she then said someone would call me to reschedule. Who is that someone? No one called me. So I asked for a cancellation of my order. She told me she has cancelled the order and asked me to wait for 30days for the refund.

After the call, I got an email from Samsung that my washer is on the way. On 16Feb, I got another text saying the delivery is coming on 20Feb. I am very confused now. I don’t wait anymore, I rather buy from TGG, JB or applianceonline. Saw a promotion on Fisher & Paykel but couldn’t buy it now. I don’t want to end up with two washers. Now got to wait till 20Feb to see if the delivery is coming.

I’m sure many people have long horror story about Samsung delivery and CS like me to share. More horror than Nexflix!

      • I feel your pain bro
I encourage you to write to the Consumers Affairs agency in your state to lodge a formal complaint about this. If you are in Victoria they already had details of my case. This seems to be a widespread problem that Samsung should do something about, or else they should be named and shamed at least.

bought this exact model on the 26th Jan with a chosen delivery date of 15th Feb for $749 through their edu store. Dropped to current price the same day as it dispatched (contacted their online CS but failed to claim a price difference refund because 'nothing they could do once it's dispatched'). Waited all day on the 15th at home for delivery but nothing came by the end of the day, without any notification from Samsung or the courier. Contacted them again this morning and got told the chosen delivery date 'is not final' and best thing to do for now is 'to wait' and they cannot provide a delivery timeframe once it's in courier's hand. This is a good price for the machine if you can actually get it without all the hassles but I would not deal with them again and suggest you do the same.

  • there is a 9kg heat pump, but no stock or else i think thats a better buy for extra $100

I hate my Samsung washer and dryer.

    • Can you please share more details

      • I hate it with a passion, it leaks, it has a hose replaced under warranty but leaked again out of warranty and the hose was over $200 because it had to apparently be delivered and installed by a Samsung rep.

I had my plumber fit what he described as a much better solution which hasn't leaked since so I agree with his recommendation and solution.

In general the Samsung whitegoods don't wash or dry that great either, by old Esatto which was much cheaper was a better dryer and my old Electrolux was a better washer.

My frustrations extend to the Samsung fridge also.

I hope the elaboration helps you understand.
        The TV's are great.

        • Yes, I've heard bad things about Samsung whitegoods. Lots of interesting 'features' but the basic parts aren't made to last and break down easily. Too many failures, not reliable enough etc.

  • Might get this, was waiting for the 16kg to be discounted

  • Is anyone able to please give me the price of the cheapest 2-in-1 washer dryer combo? If there is one.

    • $852 10Kg/8Kg

avoid 2in1 if possible they break all the time

      • Yeah my current one is 4 years old and is starting to leak. I own a small apartment though so I'm limited to a combo.

      • Mines like 8 year old and still going strong…I want it to break so i can replace it

One can celebrate their spouse's entry into University by buying this.

    Late Valentine's

  • Looks like this is the WW10T754DBT model (dark window). Do they have the clear window model (WW10T654DLE)?

  • Is the deal meant for students of laundry school?

  • Captcha on registration is broken, can't make account.
