  • Just ordered Soundcore A40, is this any good?

I've had the elite active 75t for about 3 years. So the model below these, but with added water/sweat resistant.

From the start, the only downside was that you can't use them independently, the left earbud is slaved to the right. Not sure if that's also an issue with the 85t.

Using them daily under earmuffs at work for 3 years, battery life is still about 5 hours of music playback at about half volume.

These ones not being "active" means they're not as water/sweat resistant as mine, but I had no issues with sweat.

Calls are clear and easy to take, but wind noise can be an issue.

After about two years of owning them, had an odd issue where sound from the right bud was barely audible even on max volume. Happened intermittently every few days for a month or two, but no issues since.

I found the shape of the buds (and the 85t seem to be the same) comfortable, and never had issues with them falling out even when sweaty and active.

        Still an issue

The fact u can get it in $70 ear buds but not these at 3x the price is an issue too

        • This is probably as a result of multipoint. I have these and pair them to my phone and computer at the same time.

      • I have the Active 75T and the 85T. The 85T I think are a little fatter and they have this weird oval shaped ear tip which works surprisingly well. Both are definitely comfortable.

Still slaved left to right though.

There's a little pin hole to clean out doing that volume issue

I prefer the 85Ts over my Air Pod Pros.

      • AirPod pros 2?

I had the 75t. Loved them to bits until the charger stop working. Didn’t use anything for 6 months and got the AirPods Pro’s 2. Not sure if it’s my imagination but they didn’t wow me like when I got the 75t. Kinda miss my jabra…

I got these a little while back for about $150. I've never used them for a phone call but the ANC works well enough to mostly drown out the blaring evacuation alarms that occasionally sound in my apartment because some idiot burned their toast or whatever, and the music quality is clear and natural.

Have had for about 6 months. The call quality is honestly horrible, but agree the ANC is great for work around the house or using to block out the background noise/music at the gym. Use them for hours a day and surprisingly comfortable for long periods.
