Are they any good? 150 is cheap and I don’t see how they can drop more
I've had mine for awhile now bought for the same price last year from JB.
Find them pretty comfortable with decent sound. Use them on the treadmill and they fit and stay in good.
Have them mostly paired with my P8P.
They are good. Sound is about as good as you can expect from True Wireless. They fit well in my ear and the touch isnt so sensitive that they pause when you readjust. They dont look as good as Airpods, but if you are an Android user the integration is worth it.
I got them last year and I am very happy with them and havent even thought about upgrading to anything else.
I like them however after a out 12 months the noise cancellation seems to have stopped working. Like it still works but it's like 30%.
There is 3 settings, off, transparency and noise cancellation and noise cancellation used to work really well, I could stand at the train station and barely hear the train arrive, on the train I wouldn't hear anyone else talking. Now it's quieter than off but I can hear everything around me.
This seems to be a common problem if you google it.
Otherwise they are comfortable and the sound quality is pretty good.
I don't doubt your claims but may I suggest cleaning your eartips and also trying new eartips. The pixel buds should have come with 2 other pairs in other sizes. It's possible the actual noise cancellation is getting worse or maybe the eartips are not producing a good enough seal in your ear canal as compared to when you first got it. This could be due to body oils, sweat, etc degrading the eartip material. The mics may also be getting blocked over time. If you look at the earphone there is a mic above and below the G symbol and another one below it. Try cleaning those as well by brushing and wiping.

This happened to me too and I looked online for a solution. Plenty of things were suggested but what I found worked was grabbing a tiny brush (I got one with a fabric shaver) and gently brushing over the 3 mesh mic areas - a small soft paintbrush or one of those shitty free toothbrushes would probably also work. You want only a few bristles.
@pennypincher98: Agree, your ears are like mine, you could wax a surfboard with your earwax such is the shear volume generated, or open a candle factory.
They're decent imo, battery life and ANC are both average, and it's one of the very few bluetooth earbuds on the market that supports LC3-SWB, so you get better audio quality for phone calls on a device that supports it (modern Pixel phones and a few others). The touch sensor isn't ridiculously sensitive like the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, so you can adjust the buds in your ear without triggering the touch controls.
They are okay sound wise, not as good as sony sony wf-1000xm5, but for the price decent
I've got mine for 2 hm years until I left the shower and place them in without drying my ears properly and water Wentworth and damage it Google was happy to replace even out of warranty.
Did you use them to dictate that post?
Must be the tariffs 🙃
I sold mine one last year $120 bought on sale last year $150 click and collect at jb hifi .Bluetooth codec does not support LDAC. i don't think so they have head tracking and aptx codec.for me under average buds.
For A2DP they support SBC, AAC and opus. On a Pixel device opus will only be used for spatial audio and can't be used for normal media audio. For HFP they support CVSD, mSBC and LC3-SWB (marketed as super wide band speech).
I have no idea what all that is. My 3.5mm headphones just work.
Edit: well, of course Google has killed the 3.5mm port on pixels. Conflict of interest much?
Lemongrass vs earwax green..
Damn, paying $99 for the Pro 2 was a great deal.
Where?
I have Redmi buds, would these be an upgrade?
I've had these for a while. First gen.
If you can get a proper seal they're decent enough. But fitment is just so hit and miss and this will vary person to person but they made the second ones smaller for a reason.
They do 'just work' though and I haven't had any major connection or disconnecting issues. Battery is decent.
My Edifier Neo Bud Pros sound noticeably better imo and are more comfortable (even with wavelet autoeq and such on the Pixel buds), but have issues with one side just not activating. So for convenience I usually pick these up.
If I had to value them. Don't spend more than 99. I.e don't buy at this price personally.
Edit:
In fact, if you don't mind corded, grab a usb c to 3.5 adapter off Ali Express (CX31993) and one of the 30-40 dollar earphones often on sale from moondrop or other similar brands. Sub 50 for likely a superior audio experience.
Not sure which moondrop you referring to.
And how's the autio quality using such USB to 3.5mm adaptor?
Like the Moondrop Chu II. Or Linsoul 7hz etc.
The one I specified is great. Notably more powerful than say the Apple USB C 3.5mm adapter.
Are these any better than something like the Earfun Air Pro 4?
Had these, for $150 they're pretty appropriately priced, sound fine, Noise cancelling is good, not as good as Sony though. My charging case died after sitting on a wireless charger one day and never came back to life.
JBhifi offered a refund or replacement set, took the refund only to realise the Pro's were selling for $250 some 1 year later…
Would buy them again at this price though.
I lost my charging case on the train. Is it worth buying this again or buying the pro 2 buds or just sticking with my trusty JBL earbuds that were $50
I have a personal vendetta against the pro 2 cos the left ear right out of the box would not connect 95% of the time and when it did it would just constantly drop out. Looked into it more and apparently loads of people have problems with random ones not working right away or months later. Google offered a refund but I just when back to Officeworks and refunded. Price matched galaxy buds 3 pros from my deal at JB for $229 and used voucher to drop it to 219. Very happy with them.
Does it work with iPhone? or only Android phones?
Works with both
Are they good for running and sport ?
Are these better than airpod pro 2s?
They're $139 on clearance @Officeworks
Jabra also priced to clear
Can't find them on the website, are clearance items usually listed on the website?
No
Lemongrass bad colour skip
How do these compare to the Galaxy Buds FE? I happy enough with the FE so not necessarily looking to change, but if they're a big step up, maybe I'd consider it.
I lost one of my earbuds and the price of a replacement bud was close to this price …
Same price as they were in various deals as far back as 2023. Glad I didn't wait for prices to drop lol
