Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Console - 2 Games/3 Month Live/Mount $299

90

Hi everyone, was in the market for an XBOX360.

Called up Target and they have dropped the advertised special to $299.Not a bad deal, the dick smith deal may have had a slight edge/ the Lego one was pretty good too, but neither are available any more.

It includes 250gb Console, Kinect with two games, a Kinect TV Mount and 3 months Xbox live. They had quite a few left at Target Vic park.

Docket: http://upload.ozbargain.com/2012/07/25/9013_imag0024.jpg

Should be target Australia wide.

  • The catalogue says $399. Docket or it didn't happen.

    • Someone gave you a neg because you asked for a docket
Lol, I get your point though so I don't know why you would deserve a neg

They probably negged my beligeretly worded disbelief.
Calling a store for a price and actually buying it at that price are two different things.

I'd like to see a docket so I can price match in a different state.

Unfortunately I don't have proof but I read it an advertisement in today's Herald Sun for $299.

  • Shows $399 for me as well.
Oh well, won't be able to get that price match after all.

Can anyone else confirm if the offer is available at any other Target stores?

  • You guys aren't big on reading really are you:P

I will put the docket up later when I have time and a scanner. Or if you were desperate you could say trying ringing them.

  • It's also printed as an advert in todays Adelaide Advertiser for $299.

How I got stuck too. Doing it on a tablet didn't help either, but if you use upload.ozbargain.com there a tool that will let you do it:)

    • Thank you. Great Deal.

      • Hope you can match it!:)

  • Chatswood NSW, $399 sold out.
    Glebe, $299 5 or 6 in stock @ 3pm. Can be reserved with a phone call 8217 1600.

  • A slightly better deal was available at K-mart two weeks before for 299AUD. Bargain prize at Target if available for 299AUD, 399AUD not really :(

  • If only we were allowed to choose the games then I'd go for it

    • Well one game because Kinect Adventures comes boxed with the Kinect so Target you're really doing you a favour. Great deal though

  • Debating whether to purchase this or wait for another special on the 4gb console, like Big W's $188 a few weeks back, which I missed. I don't have any particular desire for Kinect. Does anyone have any suggestions to swing me either way?

If want to do any serious gaming on it I'd say buy this deal. You'll go through the 4GB in no time plus some games like BF3 will only allow you to save certain content (the HD textures pack) to a HDD. Also, installing games makes the console whisper quiet and they'll load faster. Takes 4-6GB per game.

If you don't want the Kinect just sell it on ebay for say $100. Easy sell and you then have a 250GB console for $199 ;)

  • Thanks for the information. I think I might go with it. What is the going rate for retail Kincets?

    • For average Joe the official price is $199 (at EB Games) but we all know there is always cheaper. It depends how quickly you want to sell it. Offer it at <$100 and it should go pretty quickly
