        If for any unforseen circumstances - you need a change done - the customer service will take hours to reach and disconnect midway through the call.

        I do understand the COVID impact but it has taken me 18 months to get some sort of refund after raising a case with a local Malaysian aviation authority.

        I have also seen people losing luggage and not arriving until weeks(most airlines are the same). Do go to the Facebook page and look up on comments on their post.

        My booking was an economy class.

          That’s understandable and happens sometimes. Get travel insurance for this purpose.

    Just flew Malaysian Airlines to KL a week ago from Sydney. They were flying one of their Airbus A330s but honestly felt like stepping into a time capsule. Plane is old, screens were not HD and very unresponsive. Would have expected much for a "full service" airline given budget airlines anyway use newer aircraft. Didn't have any issue with on board service or lost luggage but YMMV. Would opt for other airlines if a similar price.

    Just return back with MH last week. I can say they have upgraded their services beyond expectation. Yes the hardware is old but they are punctual, the meal quality has improved, the inflight entertainment is good and the ticket price is comparable. I don't mind using them again for my next trip.
