Stacks with $25 new user bonus?

    • +2

Hey @TEER3X, this offer counts toward a signup bonus!

      • Hi, I just created an account and did a purchase and can see the cashback for booking.com, but not the sign up bonus. Does this take longer to appear?

        • Hi @ian1095,

Your bonus should appear right away. If it hasn't, please reach out to [email protected] and our team can fix this up for you.

          Cheers

Holy shit! This must be the highest rate for Booking.com I've ever witnessed.

    • +1

      Capped at $130 though

      • +3

        yeah. I got $160 cashback from Shopback's 12.5% deal for booking.com yesterday!

        • +1

I cancelled a few of my bookings and moved it to Cheddar for the extra 10%. Hopefully it tracks!

  • Include flight?

    • +1

Eligible within Cheddar only, doesn’t seem to have flight option

    • Hey @a1234my, flights are not included in this cashback offer with Booking.com

      • Are flights included in Expedia offer

  • Are flight tickets also eligible for cashback?

  • +2

Anyone or @getcheddarapp : With other cashback provider, upon clicking the link there will be their banner on Booking.com page and this is how we know we are on the right track. I notice this isn't the case with Cheddar. Can you confirm please?

    • Hey @foxes28, we don't yet have a banner feature but this is something we can raise and look to offering in the future 😊

      • +1

Thanks! As long as it tracks

  • +1

This looks good. Do you guys think there will be price jacking?

    • +5

      There always is.

    • +3

Yeah. Just checked a couple of hotels in Sydney. After the cashback, Pretty much same price if I book directly with hotel.

    • I can confirm that there was price jacking.

  • +1

How long does it take to track normally?

  • +1

thanks OP - was just about to book hotels last night - thankfully i waited. Time to play referral roulette and see who gets $25 haha

    • It says "Link only works from mobile.", I'm using my mobile but it takes me to app store to install the app. I click it again once installed, it goes to "refer a friend" page to "sign up", is that it? How do I know it got the referral?

  • Uh, anyone able to reverse math as to what the max booking price can be?

    • $590.91 gets pretty close

    • +3

Just a note for the future, it is very easy to find out the max amount by taking the limit ($130) and dividing it by the cashback fraction (0.22). Taking $130/0.22 gives you $590.91 as mentioned by @Roja.

      • +1

        Thanks sensei

      • $590.91 PLUS taxes and charges

  • +1

Can this be used for 1 transaction only, or multiple separate hotel bookings?

    • Multiple as mentioned here: You must return and click through Cheddar every time you make a new transaction

  • +1

Is it capped at $130 / 22% per booking, or per account?

    • I'd say per Cheddar account. You can book as many times as long as you are within the cap.

  • @getcheddarapp are 'pay at property' rates eligible? Looks like some hotels I'm interested in only allow pay at property.

    • Hi @tripdubz,

Confirming this is still eligible for cashback 😊

      Cheers,

  • Awesome, just in time for my holidays.

  • +2

no price jacking from what I checked

    • Made two bookings yesterday. Noted price jacking of up to $200 on one and $75 on the other. Jack the Ripper was there, definitely!

      • I got my Singapore stuff and it was the same if not cheaper depending on mobile only price or not

        • "Cashback is ineligible on bookings made via the Booking.com app"

Did yours track via the Booking.com app? Just curious. Thanks.

  • How do these cashbacks work with Booking if the actual accommodation (and their payment) is not for months yet?

  • +1

How will you track the discount if I do pay at the property option and my booking is for 6 months after. Will I be still eligible for new user cash back or not? When will I get my sign up bonus?

    • Want to know too…

  • Is the $130 cap limited to each transaction? E.g. If I make two separate transactions of $600 each then I'll get $260?

  • Hhhmmm just came back from long holidays so im not sure if i would sign up for the 3rd cashback account… It may be just a vibe as part of their marketing

  • I just made my first order with them. Paid now to avoid any chances of cashback not being paid. (Otherwise was planning to pay at property).
I haven't recieved any email from cheddar advising my click has been tracked.
    @Rep, can you please confirm?

    Thanks

    • Cashback may take up to 10 days to track

      • Yeah, but surely they at least ACKNOWLEDGE the transaction immediately?

        • That's not how it works bud

  • +1

I can see it in click history but nothing in transaction

  • I did 3 seperate transactions and only the second one tracked.

    • How do you know it tracked?

      • Can see cashback balance and when you click more info, it gives details..

        • I just got an email that cheddar cash coming your way.

Only my second order tracked as well it seems

    • If you don't mind sharing, did you complete the payment for the second transaction or was it pay at property?

      • All of them was pay at property

  • First time using Cheddar and just made a booking. Understand it takes up to 10 days to track but wondering if anyones purchase already has?

  • Thanks OP, booked with wotif, booking.com and expedia. Didn't realise you could do multiple transactions through same provider.
Wotif and expedia tracked immediately, Just waiting on booking.com to track

  • Made 2 bookings - Booking and Expedia, the latter tracked immediately. Hopefully Booking tracks soon after.

    • Booking just got tracked and is now pending.

  • Site was very, very slow the whole night. Presumably getting ozbargained.

3 out of 4 cashbacks tracked.

The booking.com URL had the referral attached (https://secure.booking.com/confirmation.en-us.html ….. _site-_pname-Cheddar_plc-_t……) so I assumed it tracked, but I think the Cheddar website either melted down or logged me out during that transaction so it did not track.

Is the rep able to chase this? Otherwise I will simply cancel and rebook whenever the next 10% cashback deal appears

  • +1

ahh I thought deal was still valid today and missed out zz

  • I have click history but no tracking still for my 2 transactions ☹️

  • Can't believe I booked through Booking.com app 😢. So disappointed especially as there's the $70 sign up bonus today. Will cancel account and delete.

  • Nothing tracked yet for me…..

    • Same here. Day 3 out of 10.

      • Finally tracked just now :)

        • Did you get 22%? Mine seems low

          • @Pootie Tang: Yep I got $130 on $700 booking

            • @foxes28: Thanks. I didn't do it through the app but the banner was on the website click through. I've logged a query. I always book accom before bed and this is why I fk up. App is basically the website anyway.

              • @Pootie Tang: The link from Cheddar app took me straight to Booking.com app. Since the T&C says not to use the app, so I had to uninstall the Booking.com app first

                • @foxes28: Interesting. Thanks for letting me know. No idea what I did. Have lodged with chedder to see. They came back and said the$20 odd I got was correct but it should be $120 or so. Thanks again

                • @foxes28: CST issue
