up to 40% is a normal price for MP. Considering they usually jack up the price before 50% discounts.
I was looking at buying Protein Powder again and on Reddit everyone was spruicing MyProtein as the best cost/taste/protein going around.
What makes it terrible quality?Nothing bad about them if you don't mind the products they sent might expire in 3 months. Whereas you can get 12 months expiry on other brands for the same quality and the same price.
Don’t forget the short expiry that everyone has been reporting.
Just bought the 5kg for 189 something with the discount.. and I was sent a packet which expires in 3 months!!!! very deceiving and dodgy. I have asked for a return and a new batch. Now I have to wait for their ‘warehouse’ to investigate.. avoid if you can
You should neg for this experience. Not a deal if that's the case.
Trust me, it is very likely you will get the same products after the investigation. I had the experience and ended up with selling them in Facebook market before the date of expiry.
In my experience their investigation led to no response / closure of the ticket. Negative review on trustpilot got their attention & refunded one of the 2.5kg bags (I bought 2x2.5kg). Better than nothing.

bought the same thing (5kg protein) in november (without cashback for 140). now its 189. and when i bought there was some sort of cashback offer which is similar.
so prices are now atleast $50 more with this fake sale.
disappointing because ive been buying from them for years. tried the majority of flavours, never been disappointed.
Could just be inflation, pretty much everything in the world has gone up in price over the past few months

Yea I used to buy Myprotein WPI for less than $30, without cashback in 2021. Nowadays, I do notice they jack their price up before doing "huge" discounts. Not an honest company to buy stuff with.
MP always has huge discounts (up to 40%) but the quality is terrible. You get what you pay for.
