    Twinkl is only really useful for the inane fillers. Easter colouring in and activities, ANZAC Day (although better can be found at the AWM, ANZAC Portal, VWMA etc), that sort of thing.

    Making a habit of using them, without changing them up, isn't a great idea. Leadership certainly notice (as has been my experience).

    Someone has to say it so I will. @muddyclear is full of it. He linked to software that appears to not even have the capability of downloading the contents of the website (it is for EPG TV guide data) and his excuses for not uploading sound like a catfisher explaining why they can't video call. If you want the content start downloading.

    So… I take on the challenge and attempted to create an automation script.

    So all the assets are available via quite a simple URL pattern: https://www.twinkl.com.au/download/[number] (so https://www.twinkl.com.au/download/1, https://www.twinkl.com.au/download/2, https://www.twinkl.com.au/download/3, and so on). Surprisingly this is unauthenticated - You can try going to incognito and visit a random download file - it will redirect you to the .co.uk site which stores the main resource.

    The site has a Web Application Firewall by Incapsula to block any naive automation attempt, so you will need to proof the user-agent to be from Google Chrome and get the security cookie manually by visiting the site first. Finally you need to sleep your bot after each download; otherwise you would get banned.

    So I put together a quick script to do that (just a bash script using aria2c), and it seems to work (no blocking yet). Managed to get 1GB worth of resources now after 30 minutes of coding and downloading. Hopefully this works and I'll share with everyone the result.

        Haha don't worry thanks to Ozbargain I snagged a Türkiye 2TB Google Drive for like $25 a year! Still have quite a bit of free spaces.

        Time to pay back to this great community I guess.
