I use a cressi similar one and it is a good reliable backup, clear good old black and white LCD display, quite conservative and you can't change the setting to tweak that. Good to have it if you have another one such as oceanic/holis which is way more liberal, to keep you calm when it warns you for deco.

IMO it is 2023, any new dive computer should come with a rechargeable battery and Bluetooth transfer of data, the technology is very basic for anything costs more than $100. Having said that, I also believe a dive computer should be no frills, simple and reliable, and would rather lack bells and whistles than have bugs, which you can't afford to, so stick with reputable brands such as cressi would be a good idea.

    Thanks.

Been looking for a dive computer too!

    Now, to start diving.

  • It’s hard to think of a way that a dive computer could be NOT unisex

  • Let me know when you have a deal on a wrist professional drive computer!

  • on what planet is that red?

  • Back on sale again, including yellow.

  • A couple of dollars cheaper - mine arrived, and although published by Amazon as "red" the box had it labelled as PINK. I contacted Amazon customer service and they refunded/gave me a $50 credit. Net cost for me was only $180

    • Is it the same "red" as in the listing photo? I went yellow.

  • Good choice - in hindsight I would have preferred yellow - however, I'm happy to have a good diving computer for $180 - and don't really care about colour (functionality is the driver for me).
