    Damn, no free pickup

    • Some Resturants offer free or reduced delivery charge on order above $15 anyway

    • +1

    Delivery only kills the deal

    • +3

YMMV there are still restaurants with free delivery option or like $1.99 delivery so it's not so bad in where I live

      • +19

Plus service fee. Very few are $1.99 delivery. Free delivery has high minimum orders. So looking at minimum $4 in delivery/fees. $6 off already expensive prices is not great IMO.

        • +1

Ha, you said the exact same thing while I was typing. Good to know I'm not alone

          • @Mr Frodo: Yeah the only Menulog coupons I find worthwhile are the $15 off with no restrictions. FOMO and the other one finished a while ago though, and I haven’t seen any new ones pop up :( they were great when combined with Mon-Thu free delivery promo.

            • @nubzy: Yeah FOMO and NEWBIE were the best. But they seem to be finished earlier than expected date.

        • +7

Totally agree that delivery and service fee will kill the deal. However, I believe that if an order is 'delivered by restaurant' then it won't attract a service fee, so you'll just need to pay the delivery fee noted. There is a pizza shop near me that delivers themselves and offers free delivery on orders over $10, so $15 of food would only cost $5 with this deal. Maybe try and filter by 'delivered by restaurant' as that usually works out cheaper even if the delivery fee is higher, but as always YMMV

      • Agree YMMV, but these new service fee plus delivery that they charge sometimes brings the total additional fee to some $7.99. Insane

    • I find the service fee is the killer for me. Delivery can be $2 for some places but service fee is usually $5 or 6. Add them together plus the inflated price it's not so much of a bargain anymore.

Still if I really needed delivery , this is better than nothing.

      • +1

Menulog service fees are capped at $4.

        • I see . Thought they are sane with ubereats.

          • @Jared17: Not yet. But give them time - Any chance for them to squeeze some extra $$ they’ll be all over it.

"Voucher not valid for this postcode"

    • I also get this error when I try to apply the LUNCH-TIME code

    • +4

Hot Tip, put your postcode as 2000 in the delivery address but everything else the same, and it'll work fine :)

Worked the same way with the VIC deals, it's only based on postcode for eligibility..

      • +5

I did that last time for Canberra and the driver never showed haha. Talked to chat but the agent couldn’t issue a refund because of invalid postcode

        • That's complete crap. What a shonky organisation.

          • +4

@Bdawg: I had to dispute it via my bank. Luckily they did it as a goodwill gesture

Lunch and dinner sorted for next 40 days

    • +1

      Single redemption only

      Unless you have 40 accounts?

      • +2

I already have about 20 accounts
        Wiĺl make more lol

        • +1

Haha nice! I should follow your step. So I take it they only need email address for registration without phone number? Can't remember when I signed up.

          • @foxes28: Need phone number when you put the order in but don't seem to care you use the same one 50 times. But also if you are happy risking not being contactable by driver you could put any old number in too, no verification.

          • +2

@foxes28: Use gmail email aliasing and the same phone number to make new accounts.

So if your email is [email protected] then you can use [email protected] when you sign up to menulog etc

  • +8

LUNCHTIME also working, without dash, could be another code lol

    • also $10 discount?

    • +1

Nice one thanks! Better use it quick before it gets patched. Does it work for pick up (last round of last time orders did)

      • +2

didn't work either of them for pick up, my food is on the way, still cheaper than full price at the restaurant

  • Does this ever work for anyone in QLD? I live in a suburban area not too far from Brisbane. But these deals never work due to postcode

    • It may work with delivery.

    • Try a different postcode for the billing address you put at the final order screen.

Make your state be "<Actual postcode> <State>" and the postcode be 3054. The code worked for that suburb.

  • +2

Not working due to postcode …these promos are a joke

    • Me too. But it doesn't say if my post code or their post code..

      • Same won’t work for 3000,4000,5000

        • If in Melbourne, change your delivery address postcode to 3004 at checkout

    • It appears to work for delivery only, mine worked after switching.

    • +1

Just tried ordering in the app using 2000 as my postcode for my Brisbane address. Let's see if anything arrives!

    • Let us know!

      • I just had some Subway delivered and worked in Perth.

        • I tried in Perth and it said postcode not elligible or words to that effect.

          • @tete: ok yes I tried with adding the different state postcode and it applied the credit just hope it doesn't stuff up the delivery in some way :)

      • Driver on the way! I'm so hungry.

        edit: arrived. It works!

edit2: part of my order was missing. Ugh. Well at least it was discounted I guess.

  • Which postcodes does this work in?

    • I'm in 2XXX and it works!

      • Not here in 2612

    • It said postcode, but then the same store worked for delivery, I think it's just no pick-up.

  • Good replacement for Go-Big

    • +2

Somewhat so as it can't be used for dinner like Go-big and so many restaurants don't accept orders till 6pm unfortunately- so can't buy in advance. Still handy with my local convenience store that offers 20% off, free items (when spending over $20) and only $1.99 delivery. The minimum spend being $15 is good though, means I no longer have to buy extra unhealthy stuff to reach $25 haha.

    • +4

nothing will ever replace go-big with its any time and $15 off offer

      • Yup RIP FOMO and Go-Big.. so many cheap meals and staples from Bakers Delight and Jack and Co..

  • Not working due to an invalid postcode - Canberra/ACT area

    • Try a different postcode for the billing address you put at the final order screen.

Make your state be "<Actual postcode> ACT" and the postcode be 3054. The code worked for that suburb.

      • I wanted to try that but then I saw the other commenter say the driver didn't deliver their food and Menulog customer support wouldn't refund them or assist them.

        • I've done this trick around 10ish times with another code and it's been fine every time. I'd take the gamble… haha

Haven't had a problem with menulog deliveries either, other than a weird cancellation but I wasn't charged for it so whatever.

  • -3

I can't believe anyone uses menulog, they are the worst!

    • +1

whats the difference between menulog and uber eats and doordash then?
same shit different smell. the food is the same regardless of delivery courier platform used so maybe you have bad experience with drivers from menulog?

    • Menulog has less commission and uses the same couriers mostly

  • +1

Two of last three times I tried Menulog, I was waiting for a driver for over an hour (ended up cancelling it both times). The second time, it found a driver after 45 mins but they never made it to the restaurant after another 20 mins before I contacted support to cancel. I hesitate to use them again even with promos.

    • It depends on your area, I’ve had shitty experiences with all 3 apps.

    • log an issue with menulog and normally you get a refund.

i had a issue with uber eats and after trying to find out how to contact them and get a reply from a human, i got my whole order waived and got a refund.
i wonder if they went back to the resturant to validate my issue raised?

      • Uber went through a period of doing full refunds but also blocking a lot of accounts if they did it more than a couple of times.

It was weird, I was missing some chips or something once and got a full refund. I only wanted to be refunded for the chips.

  • Well, after getting $6 hsps delivered daily the last 3 months I guess this is an ok one to use

    • +2

      RIP your health.

  • Menulog has minimum $2 service fee + delivery fee is around $2-$3 more for small orders.

You'd need to find a delivered by restaurant without a huge minimum order that doesn't jack up their prices too much and that's a bit of a unicorn.

    • yeah pretty much the discount just pays for the service and delivery fees and then you are left with the overpriced food menu items

      • +2

I just got an $11.80 burrito bowl delivered from Guzman. Cheaper than if I went into a store which is $12.70. I didn’t have to move, or line up, so this is a win.

  • I think if you are in capitals its easy with 2 for 1 offers or free item to get crazy value just over $15 .
Its not justified the delivery fee and service fee whinging.
    Rinse and repeat .

  • +1

    Thanks OP.

  • Daylight Saving time only, should be in description

  • Does anyone know if Menulog pays for the discount or the store?

    • +1

      menulog

  • +4

2 things. First is. It not just NSW i used it in vic 3163

Also. To the people complaining about the service fees. Menulog still has options for the restaurant delivery. Just filter for it. You wont get those srvice fees if its not a menulog courier delivery it. Yeah. There may be delivery fees. But just the general ones that the restaurant themselves apply to ghe order. Which has been there long before service fees and shit like that

    • Thanks! I was going to edit the post to put [NSW] on the title, glad you confirm it’s not the case.

  • +1

Mine work in VIC too. No issue.

  • -1

why does it say NSW only? It works everywhere..

    • -1

I didn’t realise admin changed the title. I have now removed the [NSW]. So I take it that yours worked in 4XXX post code?

  • Are these time restrictions based on the time of delivery chosen by the customers or it is the time the order is placed? Any ideas?

    • order is place

  • +1

Guessing this is AEST time as usual..

  • This is BS, when I tried to use it, it shows "This voucher can’t be used at this time, sorry"

    • you have to use it in right time.

  • try and find places that do pre-orders if you want delivery during dinner time - its annoying af but it is what it is.

  • +1

It says CC only but also accepts Paypal payments(I have tried and succeeded)

  • +3

Always check your "For you" page
    https://www.menulog.com.au/offers

If the code appears there it should work for you. If it doesn't appear then you're out of luck or try some of the suggestions above.

    • This worked for me. Got $15 and $20 off my 2 accounts. Thank you!

  • +1

With FOOD-NIGHT, a good workaround is placing the order after 930pm but requesting deliver for lunch next day.

  • Can't see where to enter the code, trying to order through app

    • +1

Final screen before you place the order

  • If I change the post code I get 'Sorry - the restaurant doesn't deliver to your address', any workarounds?

  • +1

Last day. Just used it. Works .
