    Any reviews from owners?

  • Midea S8+ with auto empty station seems like good value at $431.75 after coupon

i just purchased this week and have been using, Its quite good :)

did your order Ships from Amazon and Sold by Robometa as well?
        Curious how the seller is.

  • Not sure if the only difference is just auto empty station?

  • thanks, I will try,

Not sure if it's the same, says m7 pro on Amazon US site, not very stellar reviews

  • What about this one for $180 ? No LiDAR and smaller battery.

Got one. Seems like a good price for a smart vac and mop.

And if not I can return within 30 days.

Plus should be able to add to home assistant.

    • Can you share some details on how it can be added to home assistant? I couldn't see anything when I looked and that's a deal breaker for me

      • +1

It says someone has done the M7 Pro. But to be honest I don’t mind if this isn’t integrated. I just want a good vac/mop that I can use since my wife and I both work.

Once I get one I’ll see if I can integrate it.

  • Any idea the difference between M7 and M7 pro? or are they the same thing depending on the country they are sold at?

    • +3

I have a feeling that M7 lacks vibration mopping.

      • +1

That is the only difference I see on the website too

  • +5

I want to like it. Features sound good… less confidence inspiring is the 3 different battery life figures they provide in the listing. 180mins in the pictures, 120mins in the specs then 150mins in the text.

  • Does anyone know that if it’s mopping mode and hits a rug does it stop, go to vacume or whatever, then when it goes off the rug it starts mopping again?? Have a rug in main living room but timber floors either side etc. Thanks

    • +1

I've got an ecovacs deebot that when it gets to the rug it goes to just vacuuming. I imagine it's not the same for every brand/model but it is functionality that is out there in the market.

  • Showiing as $499 less $120 coupon

    • Seems like it was a really good deal

  • Mopping function working?

Water Flow on App is high, but mop pad still dry, and water level same as beginning.

How can I know whether mopping function working?

    • +1

I’ll be testing it tomorrow will check.

      • +2

so i have used it today.

Mopping just drags the rag with no water at all. Not impressed tbh.
robot itself doesn't even go straight in line.
Vacuumed it very well though with almost no noise.

Comparing it to my 5 year old S50. But Roborock has better mapping and way of creating routes.

I have asked the question to this seller.

        • I contacted the customer support, and they sent me the following video,

          https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yEU4rsru_yIXfzUk-Bo3KA1nxUp…

          • @sunaus: Thanks I’ll give that a go.

            • @bhunter101: So I did this once then I did it again thinking it needed more pressure/water and now it’s not coming out again from those holes. Instead it’s coming out from random spots.
              How did you go?

              • @bhunter101: I just follow the video, and water coming out from 4 holes.

And then installed water tank, the first run not working very well, but the second run mopping looks like working.

    Sharing my feedback:
I got mine delivered on Sunday 26 Feb. unboxed on Tuesday 28Feb. The robot has been sitting in the docking since then. (Still charging). Every time I asked it to start vacuum, it will say “low battery, please charge”. The app is always indicating low battery. I reached out to the seller via Amazon, and was told to wait because their engineer is analysing my issues.
This is rather worrying and frustrating experience.
Thank goodness this was purchased through Amazon. If it solution, I will return this product.
Also, seller asked me to log my issues via app so that I can send my machine’s log, but the section where I need to enter comments only allowed 200 characters, very annoying. End-up asking seller to respond via Amazon messaging.

n.b. I made sure no obstacle surrounding the docking station (1.5m sideways and up).

Some good stuff (but machine still not working) :
The robot “skin” looks very nice.it has sparkle purple-ish colour
It made this very nice sound when I put it on docking station.
Packaging was securely boxed up: the actual product in its box, then an outer brown box from Midea, then Amazon box.

typo: should be "If no solution".
Update: I have since returned the product to Amazon. What a relief.

  • Anyone else had feedback on this? I see it’s currently $374 then $100 off, which seems a decent deal. Not a lot of risk buying via Amazon but reviews are mixed
