Boston - Smart AI Assistant iOS was $5 currently Free
This is based on ChatGPT . You can learn more here
LLMs are trained with immense amounts of data and use self-supervised learning to predict the next token in a sentence, given the surrounding context. The process is repeated over and over until the model reaches an acceptable level of accuracy.
Once an LLM has been trained, it can be fine-tuned for a wide range of NLP tasks

This app it’s relatively new app v1.1 hence why it’s gone temporarily free I guess to get interest/chart ranking etc. Seems quite an interesting AI LLM tool as capable of generating creative writing, coding etc integrated through Siri.
5⭐ rating

That's an awesome deal!!!

Is it just me or does the IOS store have WAY less reviews in general than google app store?

    • It's a relatively new app, hence it's temporarily free. That's why it doesn't have a lot of reviews. It looks promising. And it's free 🙂

      • +7

It’s not an app it’s just a shortcut. You can DIY a much better one in just 5 minutes, see my post below

        • +5

It's what ChatGPT is based on.

ChatGPT is based on a shortcut to itself? Mind blown!!

    • +1

Reviews are country based on the App Store. Not sure about google play.

  • +3

Deleted. It didn’t work. Siri didn’t reply what would you like to ask Boston.
Will reinstall when/if works in the future.

        I’m on 16.3

        • Guess Boston doesn’t think that 16.3 is later, so I guess you don’t argue with a smart intelligent machine 😁

    • +1

      Worked for me.
      12 Pro / 16.3.1

      • I’m installing 16.3.1 on 11 pro max

What do you think of the app?

        • I used it to tell me a story about eating ice cream. It worked just as well as typing that into chatGPT.

This is not an ai app, it’s just a shortcut. You can do it yourself manually, or download a pre-made one and add your chatgpt token into it. This way you can also program it to answer the way you want, for example I have one behaving like an ai assistant, one without any prompt (vanilla chat gpt) and one behaving like maester Luwin, which I specifically told to never deviate from game of throne’s lore in its answers (it’s pretty hilarious).
All these shortcuts are turned on by Siri and uses Siri’s voice which is quite cool, just google chatgpt Siri shortcut and you’ll be able to set one up in 5 minutes

    • +3

Doesn't that mean i have to pay for chatgpt tokens

      • Yes, but if you really don’t want to pay you can just create a new account every time the trial period expires

        • which requires a new phone number

  • +2

    Installed tried and uninstalled

  • +6

I tried both chatGPT and this

chat GPT is like talking to people

while this is like talking to shit

    answers are stupid like siri

    • Wait. It's not 1996?

Another Mc waste of time post, anything for a badge haha

I feel like this guy advertising new rubbish app through OzBargain.

I wonder how this guy has been known about this new app and even previous price??

This app is not rubbish in quality. They tried to make money with other's effort.

  • It's kinda dumb… I asked "What are the key plot points of Shrek 2"

    Boston replied:
"1) Fiona is kidnapped by Lord Farquaad and taken to his castle.
    2) Shrek, Donkey and Fiona travel to the castle in order to rescue her.
    3) They encounter obstacles on the way, including a dragon named Dragon who wants to eat Fiona.
    4) In the end, they are able to save Fiona and return her home safely."

Hilarious. A few problems with the accuracy of this…
    1) This is the plot of Shrek 1, not Shrek 2. And it's not his castle, it's abandoned.
    2) How can Fiona be a member of the party travelling to rescue herself?
    3) The abandoned castle is Dragon's lair and Dragon wants to eat everyone who steps foot in it, as evident by all the charred corpses of knights previously attempting to rescue Fiona, and a large portion of the movie spent chasing Shrek and Donkey, not Fiona who is imprisoned in the tower that Dragon is guarding.
    4) This is not the end. The end is that Shrek returns to declare his love for Fiona, and they share 'true loves first kiss' at sunset - breaking Fiona's curse but leaving her in ogre form permanently. Shrek and Fiona get married and depart on their honeymoon, living 'ugly ever after' and ending the film.

At least it's smarter than Siri who just says "here's what I found on the Web" lol

    • +2

      Um… spoiler alert?!

      • -1

Haha, I feel like Shrek 1 (and 2) have reached that cult-classic film status where almost everyone (in the western world) has seen them and knows what happens.

  • +2

Installed and gave it a go, pointless app

  • +2

Poor quality app, tried it and it was not smart at all. Feels like it’s trying to mine data or something.

  • +2

    WTF.

"It's what ChatGPT is based on"

I'm sure the developers of ChatGPT would be interested to know that their years of research and development have produced something that is based on a $5 app.

Come on. It's just a shortcut. It has absolutely no intelligence itself.

Do not want, flawed product, not a deal
