Some great prices on these two 2.5" SATA SSDs in 1TB and 2TB capacities. The downside is that these are DRAMless (given the price) so I'd recommend agasinst using as your main OS drive, however they're still good for a game drive, portable SSD and cheap fast storage.

Both have high endurance compared to other budget SSDs with the 1TB having 480 TBW endurance and the 2TB having 960 TBW endurance. They both have a 3 year warranty, seq. read/write speed of 520/430 MB/s and should be TLC flash.

They also have a different model for cheaper.
    Which is better?

Tech specs are a worry. Seq. read up to 420MB/s and a slow seq. write up to 320MB/s.

    • Less capacity on that one as well

Assuming Patriot did not make any component swap on both models, they pretty much use the same components (same controller, same old 64L TLC NAND from Micron).

P210's specs appear better though. That said, DRAMless SSDs without HMB, I get you might want to go for the cheaper one. 1.92 vs 2TB, not much size different really. Make sure you really need it, rather than a FOMO purchase.

  • Good to see the 2tb models coming down in price, hoping for a 4tb at similar $/gb :-)

    • Would be very nice of 4/8TB models come down. I'd jump at it right away!
