It looks like it could be a very cheap tool to help with a simple job. at 10cm, it's not huge. Like many Ali products, prices for different options make no sense, but first one is US80c.

My experience.. the bulk of this device would be a drawback and It would get in the way.
You would have to find a grip that works around its position (thus when removed it, you will need to find another grip and your muscle memory wouldn't work so well).
The device will only work on certain knives.. trying to use it on small blades probably wouldn't work.
Lastly, depending on what grit level stone you are using.. thr plastic would Embed into your stone and hamper the stones ability to sharpen.
I prefer wedges because you use it as a reference instead of relying on having a attached device. You wont be able to maintain a perfect degree every time, but practice makes perfect and so long as you are roughly there, youll see results.
Again, just my experience so your mileage may vary.
