I also have this offer on the Telstra website too

For new or existing Telstra Plus members. Eligibility criteria apply to join Telstra Plus.

Seems a good offer. You could almost redeem a pair of galaxy buds 2 pro with the 72,000 bonus points +9290 points you would get from spend on 256gb model phone (10pts/$).

I think that buds 2 pro offer (81000 points instead of 111000 points) runs out 6th March though, not sure if the points would be credited in time? Tempting!

        • That's true. Do you or anyone else have an idea how long the points usually take to credit?

          • @Kamppinator: I'm not certain, but it does mention on there that it can take up to 14 days to credit

    • Nice!
That's a great bonus, probably better than the $80 google credit if google store price matched.

    • I've been looking at this phone and was contemplating getting it through the telstra plus rewards store as it seems to have the same price and I could use some telstra plus points, but sadly it looks like this bonus offer doesn't come up.

So I suppose the $$ value of 72,000 points through the telstra store purchase is greater than purchasing it through the reward store and using existing points to bring down the overall cost.

    Pricematch Officeworks? +5% off

    • +1

Believe that fact you need a Telstra ID would be enough of an excuse not to price match. Try your luck!

Might be better trying JB for a price match, and then use discounted GC

I was able to get a pricematch yesterday at JB Merrylands when showing the process. They said I needed an active Telstra service - which I do not have. I just showed them that I just needed to sign in with the account and no plan or existing service needed.

Which I am very happy about since I hate Telstra and would not want to buy anything from them at all, plus the 3-5 day delivery time. Instead I had it in hand immediately.

    • I was able to do this about 18 months ago on a P6P - unlocked my phone, logged in to Telstra, and showed the team member how I could buy outright. YMMV, however showing the process seemed to be the way that got me over the line on a 5% price beat.

  • Do you have to buy a mobile plan to get the 12 month pixel 7 plan?

    • Yes

Telstra was selling it for $749 in December 2022. And it could be bought from OW for $711 after price beat and even cheaper when you paid with the gift cards.

  • Can I get this offer in store? Along with the Telstra points?

  • +1

Apparently, you won't get points if you buy it outright even with Telstra ID. I asked the shop, it's written in their clause (Telstra Plus members earn points on eligible payments for their Telstra services (excluding outright purchases, refunds, credits and late payment fees). Eligibility criteria apply to join.)

    • Good catch!

  • Anyone had luck getting JB Hi-fi to price match this?

    • Just tried to price match this with JB Hi-Fi in Craigieburn and they immediately said no. Didn't even give me a chance to show them the price

      • After getting rejected at 2 JB Hi-Fi's, they price matched it on the 3rd.
