      • yeah, I think the price got fixed after that.

    Thanks Dan Andrews

  • Not sure if anyone checked their totals but i saw $14.40 for S&S but when i went to check out the total was over $110 for 5 packs

    • +2

Just checked my email receipt for 1 pack , is $14.40

  • +1

    Damn missed it!

  • showed $14.40 for S&S but when placed the order it charged regular $22.73

  • +1

    The S&S price is $22.72!

  • I managed to order one pack at the S&S price of $14.40 but I just received an email from Amazon advsing that there was error setting up my subscription

    • I got the same email, but then I have an order confirmation in another email, and expected delivery Friday when I click in my orders.

    • +1

Are you paying with gc? Should be ok as that's just subscription and since you will be cancelling that sub anyway, the first one should deliver without issue.

      • Oh yeh I paid mine with gift card.

        • +2

Yeah don't worry, you will always get that error email when paying with gc.

          • @akte: Paid with CC got the same error,

            • +2

@chrisie: I've received the error message several times. Usually requires updating of address (house, Parcel point pick up location when I've added a different address), credit card update, adding gift card without credit card etc

              • +1

                @trixieb: Thanks.
Also got an order confirmation in another email was going to cancel S&S so at least saves me cancelling .

    • +1

Is your mode of payment Gift card? Subscriptions can’t be setup using GC. Need to be linked to a CC. Your current order will go through but the future orders (which I reckon you already plan to cancel) will not get processed.

I bought 5 packs at $14.40 each. This is even cheaper than the $18 S$S I used to get. Thanks everyone

    • -2

    • +4

i basically live here, refresh the page every 5 minutes

  • FFS i JUST ordered this yesterday for $22!

  • Missed it… The cheaper price didn't even register on Camel Camel Camel so wasn't notified.

  • +2

Never thought i'd be disappointed missing a deal on TP… oh how the last couple of years have changed me :'(

  • Sometimes i feel anxiety when i see these good toilet paper sales.. they have previously happened right before a new covid strain and lockdown! Please don't let this happen again 🙏

Spewing i was too late to stock up on toilet paper though..im actually running low!

  • Is $25.25 good price? Thats what i can see now

  • Anyone know if Amazon usually packages this item in a box? Last time I ordered the 48 pack from them, it just had an address label attached to the Quilton plastic packaging, and the plastic had ripped, presumably while in the hands of Australia Post. Not sure if I want to order this again unless they have changed their packaging method.

    • +1

You need to specify in the order you want the box, otherwise is just the plastic package

      • There wasn't an option when I ordered the Quilton 48 today.
I was given the option with paper towels. I chose the box but Amazon still used the clear plastic.

        • They must have changed, last time I bought was last year. Like you I wouldn't buy without the box

        • If they had put an extra layer of clear plastic around the 48 pack perhaps the damage wouldn't have been so bad, but they just stuck the label on the regular Quilton wrapping (like you'd get in a supermarket).

      • Thanks - I will keep an eye out for any packaging options next time I checkout with them. Didn't occur to me that it wouldn't come in a box so I probably wasn't paying attention to any info about packaging.

        • There is a risk of theft esp with toilet paper

        • I chose the option to hide the item and use amazon packaging - they put it in a white plastic bag. So contents were hidden, but it was not a box.

          • @A2: I didn't see the option yesterday when I purchased Quilton 48. How long ago was your purchase?

            • +1

@trixieb: Last week, before this deal.

    • +2

Amazon appears to stop packing into boxes recently. Paper towels I ordered end of last year were placed in transparent plastic and the address label attached to the plastic. Everyone could see these paper towels left outside my front door. Previously these paper towels were packed in a brown box.
The last time I ordered Quilton 48 was more than 6 months ago and they were still packed in a box.

    • +1

Can confirm no box, just received delivery and the quilton packaging torn. Driver said item was already damaged when picking up but Amazon despatch did not care.
When ordered last year, it was definitely boxed.

      • My last 3 without boxes have been fine. Plus another layer covering the actual toilet paper 😆

      • +2

@Yosh1 As long as you received 48 clean rolls.
I haven't bought any books, delicate or collectible items recently. With the reduction in packing materials, I suspect some items may arrive damaged or not suitable as gifts.
I purchased some Hydralyte packets that arrived very dented in Jan as they were tightly squeezed into a soft plastic bag. These would have been packed better in a rigid box in the past.

        • books are still sent in satchels as usual

        • +3

Their system makes me wonder sometimes. I used to get TP in a box and they would also use the scrunched paper packing for some reason.
Yet I order food stuff in glass jars and they send it in a box with no packing, rolling around for its journey (sometimes they do actually survive, sometimes they are smashed.)

    • Not anymore

  • +1

I didn't choose the option to use Amazon packaging. It arrived with just the original Quilton packaging with address label and about 5 holes. Ordered 2, and both arrived with holes and not something i will use. Interestingly i just bought TP, same one, 2 weeks back from Amazon, albeit at full price, but it arrived in a massive box

    • Mine arrived in the original Quilton packaging with address label and 0 holes :)

      • same. at least less big boxes for the garbage bin. no different to buying from woolies

        • Mine had a love handle as well as 48 date roll holes.

  • +2

It's better to get the toilet paper unboxed. They're currently slapping pride tape all over their boxes. ain't nobody asked for that

  • Just noticed I was billed. $25.25

    • Full price :(

  • +5

    Available again, be quick.

  • +4

    Back in stock

  • Got one for $16 thank you

  • Still $16 for me and in stock just ordered. Any one know they this gets delivered? I'm assuming a courier or does auspost do it. Does it come in a cardboard box?

    • Amazon does minimal packaging so no more cardboard boxes

  • +1

Thanks to whoever tried to post this. Ordered cos I saw the dupe on deals page!

    • Your welcome….

  • Oos ?

    • +1

      OOS already
      That was quick
May return again like last time

      • +1

They actually back in stock and managed to get one, thanks !

        • Great

  • Bought 2, cheers

  • Got 1, thanks!

  • Nice price, but I only buy double length rolls. More expensive, but worth not having to change a roll every single damn day…

    (I live with females)

    • If you are a Costco member, Kirkland giant toilet rolls 48 for $26.99 would be an option. They feel a bit softer than Quilton

      • Haven't seen them at Costco in CBR for a while now, do they still have them in other stores?

        • +1

They were available in WA at the end of Feb and beg of March
I think they are currently out of stock

        • +1

@djkelly69 Kirkland toilet rolls are back in stock. I was at Costco Perth last night and saw them in people's trolleys

          • +1

@trixieb: Thanks, will check out here in the next couple of days.

    • -3

      (I live with females)

      Weird statement, but ok.

      • +1

clearly you havent lived with females then (I didnt neg you btw)

  • Got one amongst the chaos

  • Damn, added to cart but upon checkout received an error. Too late it seems!

  • Tried and kept getting issues on payment screen, now seems gone

  • Gah missed again!

  • +1

Me too worse part is I even checked this morning !
