      It didn't work for me last year. I had to complete payment with the original payment method. Just used the credit recently, though, so nothing lost. YMMV

    Be careful with airbnb gift cards. I've read if you cancel you don't get the credit back.

      Where did you read this pls? The policy on the site is that it is refunded to payment method and you load up your Airbnb account with the gift card credit.

    FYI you can only purchase a maximum of $2,500 worth of gift cards per day (got cards instantly and have already redeemed on Airbnb account)
