Hi guys,
There is a 40% off all cricket gear deal for New Balance Cricket - they make decent equipment, especially for these prices. It's not bad for new gear leading into finals - I'm sure a new $900 bat will increase my batting average this season from 3.75 runs to a clean 4 runs per innings.

        Old news mate. Smith copped that on the chin, put his hand up and owned it. It wasn't pretty and it's a blemish on his otherwise exemplary career. He's one of the finest cricketers of the modern era and has proven himself as a brilliant captain, no one on the current roster is better suited to the task.

    Good deal OP. I don't think a new bat will help my batting average but at least I'll look good. Hopefully the sale remains for a while as I'd want to go to a store and try out the bats. Thinking of the TC range due to the mid profile.

      Same average as me, though I'm borrowing my sons bat as I've just started playing cricket again after a 29 year break.

      How do you find the TC1260?

        I have a paltry average of 18.98 while batting and 17.7 while bowling.
        I play with CA 15000.
        My teammate has TC1260, but I didn't like the feel of it, he does have better average of 23.77, so the bat must be good.

          Thanks, I gotta say it's different playing on grass after playing junior and senior cricket on synthetic. My only two outs have been in the last over, both caught. My son had the pleasure me of running him out for 10 as well 😳. Haven't had much chance with the bat but I'm happy to keep it that way. Thanks for the update about the TC. I'll have to find a store with one and check it out, as I'm planning on coming back next season.
