Kogan Cordless Window Vacuum Cleaner $19.99 + Delivery ($0 with First) @ Kogan

500

Bought this Kogan window cleaning vacuum combo the other day and tried it out this weekend. Amazed at how well it works so thought I'd share. Literally takes about 30secs to clean a medium sized window without needing to be fussy about cleaning. Simply spray water (or a mild water and dishwashing soap combo) generously onto the glass, quickly scrub/wipe with the fluffy pad and then squeegee vacuum the dirty water away leaving a streak free finish. For $20 delivered I reckon it's an awesome deal. A decent squeegee would probably cost $7 alone and another $5 for a spray bottle mop thing. This vacuum combo costs only a little more. Really happy with the results.

  • Thanks OP, got one, has impressive reviews.

I got one of these last year, works great, only issue is that the spray bottle is low capacity, and when you had to clean like 4 sets of outdoor glass sliding doors, it's not enough. Would recommend you to get another spray bottle, so you don't need to go and refill as often.

  • Why does this need a battery

    • +6

To charge your phone while you wipe

      • I need one for the toilet.

How do you think the vacuum function works to suck up excess dirty water without batteries? By using your lips pressed against the glass like a catfish?

      • -4

I didn't think windows needed a vacuum cleaner.

I use a two cloths, works great, no landfill or child slave miners required.

    • Unfortunately can’t say the same about the phone you likely wrote that comment from

I don't need a useless fancy way to clean glass.

That doesn't mean we throw our hands up and say oh well do whatever. Reduce, reuse, recycle.

        • Each to their own I guess, I just find it more difficult to sleep knowing my window cleaning solution involves a child mining the materials for the battery in my device that I use because it simply makes a task fancy.

It's not cool, but a damp microfiber cloth followed by a dry microfiber cloth makes glass super clean, is easy, uses only water and just works.
