        • The irony is I recevied mine and it is DOA.

Box was wet when I received it and looks like there was some damage in transit.

The seller has offered to refund my money and pay for the return shipping.

Still all that waiting for nothing next time I am going with the amazon deal as the shipping time is 4 days as opposed to almost 4 weeks

        • Same here. Just got my EN720M after one month.

The machine is DOA that wont produce MACCHIATO CAPPUCINO and HOT MILK as these buttons keep blinking for ever.

Contacted Delonghi and Nespresso this morning and they suggested good must be faulty and unlucky not covered by international warranty.

So I need to send it back to UK but the question is:

Should I ask for a refund or replace. consider It might take another two months to receive the replacement and what if another DOA…

I think I might just stucked on this nespresso machine as I already purchased a welcome pack from nespresso for 179 dollars. And If I chose to refund my money I dont think I would get it this cheap in Aus retailer (less than $400)..

        • Mine arrived, worked for one day, then stopped. Power still there, when press button all four lights on top blink three times and then stop. Haven't contacted anyone yet (weekend). Can't find anything on interwebs that suggest what the problem might be.

I wonder if this batch had a higher than normal fault rate?

How has anyone gone with receiving a refund from the seller? I assume they only refund after the goods are returned?

      • Got mine today - very happy with it
Problem is, which I expected, is that the plug is European so you'll need to get a European to Australian adapter

  • My coffee machine was dispatched on 9th of August.
Today is 3rd September and still no sign of it.
Called DHL and they can only see that it has been scanned in on 9th August and nothing after that.
Tried calling Australia Post and they say that the parcel is yet to arrive in Australia.
As far as I can see, my coffee machine is in no mans land. No one can help me.
I don't understand why computeruniverse couldn't just charge an extra 10-15 EUR and have it sent DHL express.
I'll give it another week and then I'm going to request a full refund and purchase it from amazon instead.
    Too damn slow!
Can people let me know the date your machine was dispatched and the date it actually arrived so I can work out the average length of time it takes for the trip from Deutsheland to downunder.

  • Ordered one of these on the weekend, dispatched within a couple of days which is good. A bit worried about the shipping time though, but oh well, cheap enough i guess.

I wanted to ask, we bought one of these for the office and it came with a sample pack of the available flavors. Has anyone received theie machine yet / can confirm if the european version includes the sample pack? Cheers!

  • +1

    mine arrived today, yay

    • How long did it take GBH?

      • my order shipped from .de on 03.08.2012

        • Cool so it could be a month+ np. Did it come with a sample pack of capsules? :)

        • dunno yet, not opened. will advise

        • Awesome thanks GBH!

  • Got my machine, it took a month. Came with a sample of 16 pods. Works great. Very happy. Kids are thrashing the milk part to make hot chocolates. Purchased the welcome pack with clear cube from nespresso, to get a better idea of favourite pods. Will use the non-preferred pods for instant coffee drinkers!

  • Mine arrived today (2 week delivery). I ordered a white machine that was 'instock'.

The milk forther is defective. The milk sputters out and it doesnt froth up properly. I have emailed computer universe and asked for a refund.

Another 'concern' with this machine is that the sample pack of pods are expired (used by date). This is a bit of a worry as it suggest that this machine is approximately 2 years old. "new" but old if you know what i mean. Will let you know how they deal with the refund side of things.

    • Interesting. I have also just sent an email to Computer Universe for problems with my machine (as described above).

I'm interested to know whether anyone has been successful in actually receiving a refund. Does computer universe wait until they receive the returned machine before issuing it?

      Is it a faulty batch?

      • The forth worked for about 10 seconds, then went back to sputtering. The sample pack being expired, i can deal with. But I'm not happy with this machines suspect reliability. I also noticed that the lungo button does not light up when i first turn the machine on. We have this same machine at work and i can tell you, all 4 lights light up on start up. I can also tell you, the milk is supposed to flow out freely. (check youtube videos to see how this machine is supposed to work if you are concerned about the milk froth).

At this point im hoping for a full refund so i can move on and just buy one locally.

      • Figured out the problem! The black plastic part of the milk frothing unit is defective. Fortunately we have a latissima at work. Tried the frother on the work machine and it had the same effect! (spluttery, exccessive steam, dribbles milk). Ordered a new forther from Nespresso, cost about 40 dollars delivered. Still a cheap machine, saves me having to send it back, waiting etc, and cheaper then refund + getting one locally. Thought that might be useful info if anyone else is having issues with their frother.

This company checks out. They refunded me the whole amount (inc postage). Im going to come to a compromise with them as i did get the machine working after buying a new part for it (call me 'stupidly honest' thats just how i am). I would have no problem ordering from them again, without a second thought!

        • They issued you a refund before they received the goods back?
