In before will this work in a switch. Yes but dont. This is usually for dashcams.

Save some money if you want to use in a switch and just get the evo instead.

    • Pretty much this, picked up 256gb evo for $24 and it works flawlessly.

      • For the price of 1 endurance card you could have gotten 2 evo.

        • +1

sry mate, is it the wording?

          • @Steakz: No. what I was trying to say is that if one wants to get this endurance card to use on a switch. They could get 2 evo 256GB and still have change left over.

can anyone tell me which samsung sd card model is good for 24x7 cctv recording, my last sandisk only last 9 months.

    • +5

      Get this one.

      • what about pro plus range?

        • As per sandisk endurance cards. These samsung pro endurance will work the same.

Perfect for your dash cam or home monitoring system. …
High endurance lets you record and re-record

          • @xoom: There is high and max endurance in sandisk. You need the max endurance.

        • Endurance is the correct choice.

  • Amazon is selling it for 79$ although it's a UK import

    • +1

So what your trying to say is you want to pay more for a UK import?

  • This is a good buy. I mean it's $119 at Officeworks which is twice as costly.

    • You get them to pricebeat.

  • I think sandisk extreme pro is better choice having 200/140 R/W compared to 100/40 R/W in case of Samsung pro endurance; also cheaper and free shipping

    • Yeah. Stock from some unkown marketplace seller. You might have to check the legitimacy of the card if it might be a fake micro sd or not. People have known to be caught out with fake Samsung and Sandisk Micro SD cards from smaller and unknown sellers.

Endurance card is for loop recording such as dashcam or security camera, tbw is much higher on these cards and their warranty does cover uses of loop recording.

      • I've been using an Endurance 128GB card in a smartphone for the past year and a half without any problems at all. It can also be used on a smartphone. But i got a good deal at the time with the price.

        • +1

Endurance cards can be used on phones tablets nintendo switch even steam deck but you're paying far too much when you can get the far cheaper evo and still have no issues.

These endurance cards are recommended for dash cams and security cams because they are more resilient with the constant writes and rewrites.

No phone or tablet will ever subject an endurance card to the punishing writes and rewrites like a dashcam or security cam.

Amazon US has this for $62.88 with Prime.

    • +1

Ahh damn we posted this same deal at the same time.

Also you don't need Prime with this since it's over $39 so you automatically get free international delivery if you've got Prime or not.

      • Oh wow yea, exact same time same deal.

    • 52.18 now with free shipping (prime) now. Got one. ETA about 10 days..

  • +1

However if you want to wait weeks for delivery. You can get it from Amazon US for $62.88 AUD delivered. Then again you will want to decide if the $9.12 saving is worth it.

Thanks! Bought two for me and my gf for our dashcams using Officeworks price beat although I'm still not sure if it's overkill since these are supposed to last 16 years but at least it's future proof for 4k when our dashcams eventually dies.

  • Thanks heaps! Been on the lookout for this for ages for my OzB BlackVue 2CH 4K dashcam and got Officeworks to price match just now.

    • Did OW price beat the $59 or $59 + $13 delivery ($72)?

      • +1

I bought 2… They price beat inclusive of delivery.. so only endured up paying ~$62 each

        • Thanks for the clarification.
Might wait to see if a deal like the Amazon US ~$52 from one last month reappears.

      • +1

I paid 56 something and I did click and collect

      • +3

They didn't check delivery and pricematched at $59 for me in-store, so I paid $56.05 :)

  • Got it for 52.18AUD from amazon US shipped today (I have prime though)

    • With that it doesn't matter if you've got Prime or not as it's just over the $49 threshold for free international delivery.
