IMO only reason to get the 60W is for 0.5m length. Otherwise you are right, I would get 1m/2m in 100W C-C just for future proofing.
The C to C are all rated with transmission rate: 480Mbps so you cannot use them for something like connecting to USB-C monitor.
The problem with this cable is that it reports the max wattage (100W) when my laptop is still using 65W as that's the max my laptop can get.

Left the cable that came with my monitor somewhere, and living regionally, thought I’d pay the HN premium rather than wait up to a week for delivery. Paid $25-30 only to discover that it wouldn’t do video and I still had to order another online.

Not sure if the case for these cables, but I find that the lower wattage cables tend to be thinner and more comfortable to use if charging your phone whilst using it.
Not sure about the Baseus cables, but with the Anker cables I have, 60W is noticeably thinner, lighter, and more flexible.
I find them mildly preferable for short cables and power banks, phone charging etc.
Love my Baseus USB-C cables. I've never had issues with them like I have had with others.

Pretty much all my baseus cables have held up well. Bedside and couch lightning cables holding strong through daily use, had them for about a year
I love these cables for the price, however one of my baseus 100W C-C cables has failed so far (after around 8mths of daily use it has weakened near the connector)
I wish Baseus had cheap laptop chargers too!
I bought this cable and unfortunately for me, it didnt last and threw it out. Stopped charging.

I have a pretty crappy cable for Android auto that causes a lot of dropouts. Will this 0.5m (shortest) USB a to C cable be reliable for AA or only really good for charging??
I don't understand how cables work. One of mine works for AA but won't charge, the other one charges but does not work with AA. What brand do you have?
A rather cheap online brand. Charges but AA can be sketchy. Want to replace with a reasonable but not too pricey short cable
Shockingly bad quality stuff - several cables failed.

Hmmm… I've been using a 2 meter 100w Baseus for over a year. Used frequently for power banks, steam deck and charging my laptop, have not had an issue with it and its holding up well.
Funnily enough, I have never had a type c cable failure. My micro usb cables failed regularly and so do the lighting cables.
Well I hope these satisfy cause after the grace period I'm getting rid of all my other cables.
Only have two devices that are microusb now happy to be rid of them. Next is the chargers for GAN chargers.
unfortunately i need to wait for many years yet to get rid of my micro usb cables.Still have many powerbanks,ereaders and flashlights using micro usb.
sounds like those devices are due for an upgrade
Anyone have any idea why none of the baeus cables usbc to usbc i buy work with the charger that came with my pixel 2 phone. They work 90% of the time with 3rd party or older usbc chargers.
Neither do any usbc to usbc blitzwolf cables. Infact stopped buying blitzwolf as none of the 6 cables I bought usbc work with any charger to any device.
Maybe the problem is with the pixel 2 phone charger
I tested the pixel charger with a borrowed "genuine" google cable and it works fine with that. Won't work with any of the 9 baues cables or any of the 6 blitzwolf cable.
Perhaps try cleaning the ports, older gear has had longer exposure to lint and debris. contact cleaner work wonders, rubbing alcohol much the same.
Well the cables arrived today, nice packaging. I expected heavier gauge but they're no different to other cable sizes I have. The colour banding is a nice touch and the Velcro tie is welcomed.
That's all I can say atm.
I thought these were coming from overseas. Still haven't received mine.
