Same one we got it for free?

    • How? What's your thoughts about this headset?

      • I got it for free too. I actually like mine.

      • Long time ago from ozbargain.

        Only used once.

    • Free? I think I paid $1 for mine.

Pretty meh sound quality, can't get much more bloated than it already is but what do you expect from a gaming headset :/

The surround sound feature is more gimmicky than useful, I don't use it often.

The cans are decently comfy though, they sit firmly and can be worn for a few hours without issue. The retractable mic is handy too. Build quality is decent for the price.

the best part of the headset was the beefy box! I turned it into cable storage. See pic.

Thanks only $30 after you write it off on tax :)

  • How is this 7.1 lol? I only see 2 set of speakers one left and one right..specs should only say 2.0

    • There's a virtual/simulated 7.1 surround sound adapter kind of thing that you have to plug in via USB and the headset into that, I don't know how it works but it doesn't work well IMO.

      • Of course it doesnt lol, technology can only go so far with physical limitations

Don't know why you're downvoted, these DSP "surround sound" gimmicks have always been crap.

          • @ssfps: If people don't have real surround system, it is an option but of course can't compare with real surround sound.

    • Did you try 3D sound on YouTube with earbuds?

      • 3D sound should only require stereo headphones.

        • I tried some on youtube they are not bad

          • @superforever: I just had a listen to some of the songs there and all they are doing is having some parts on the left ear and some on the right, and then moving them across. I guess this is what some people on youtube are calling "3D audio" nowadays…lol
