  This is a great deal. I bought a pair of knipex pliers before my apprenticeship, then I used a tradie's marvel ones and ever since I got myself a pair of marvels that knipex have been sitting in my tool box as a back up.

    Because its crap. Beside the long knose. The pliers and side cutters have little leverage so using more force to cut.

        But I've never had an issue cutting fencing wire up to 3.5mm with tools this size

        Kincrome x-force pliers, cutters, long nose. They have a leverage system in which you use 1/2 the force to cut/grab, or applies more force when you use the normal amount of force. Can highly recommend them as i've used em for years.

    Knipex are great, though I would go with the 180mm or 200mm versions over the 160mm side cutters in this kit.

    I’ve still got a pair of 180mm side cutters I bought when I started my apprenticeship 16 years ago and they are still good, just a bit neglected
