122-in-1 Precision Screwdriver Toolkit US$10.54 (~A$16.04) Delivered @ GeForest Store AliExpress

600

On sale is this 122 in 1 toolkit with a precision screwdriver, heaps of different screw bits, magnetiser, flexible screwdriver extension shaft, plastic pry tools, tweezers, suction cups and more.

I've been using the same toolkit for years and the screwdriver and bits have been flawless for various phone, laptop and computer repairs. Particularly when dealing with Apple and all the unusual screws they use. Obviously the plastic pry tools won't be the strongest but they still work.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive and stacks with cashback.

  • They're always about this price

The other three I can see are $22 + GST

I have one of those, bought from Amazon AU. For the price, it is the most complete precision tool set.

Having something like this on hand is useful if you diy a bit. Just recently my cheap Kogan set has saved me as there was a fan I needed to pull apart with triangle head screws for some reason. Also a Dyson I was pulling apart has torx size 8 screws and all my sets went down to t10 only except for the Kogan precision set

"to wait patiently for 10 seconds or wait 30 seconds", what on earth does this mean…? :-/

The choice is yours of how patiently you wait.

  • Link not working, perhaps finished?

Some adblockers and corporate networks seem to block various pages on AliExpress.

      • Ahuh, you are correct, loads fine on the phone. Thanks for the quick reply legend.

    Thanks, bought another kit

  • Do anyone have both of this one and the Xiaomi one? Can you compare the hardness of those bits? Thank you.

  • I have a grey version of this, looks to have the exact same components and layout. Definitely came handy in my recent moving house!

  • I've used this toolkit to disassemble a few laptops thus far for battery/RAM/storage upgrades or replacements and it hasn't failed me nor have I lacked any bits I needed.

The spudgers/prying tools/picks are probably the flimsiest of the entire selection of parts but they'll do the job for light repair work.

For $10 you really can't complain, as it includes almost everything you'd find in the iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit for $100 dollars less.

  • It was $17.56 for me but hopefully still a good deal. Maybe the OP forgot that AliExpress's prices don't include GST?

US$ rate never fluctuates. Deal always includes GST.

      • Well the exchange rate always fluctuates and it looks like you forgot to include GST which is added at checkout. I think you're (hopefully unintentionally) gaslighting me.

        • No gaslighting here. As per the deal (and every deal I post).

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive and stacks with cashback.

The US$ price doesn't change. Now if you have a card without currency conversion fees, set AliExpress to USD and when paying through PayPal, click "See currency options" under your card and set it to USD you'll get the current exchange rate Otherwise letting PayPal do the conversion will result in a higher price. Often it's out of whack in PP's favour by 3 cents or so on the dollar.

At the time of posting it was A$16.04 and currently it's A$15.97. Hence why there's a US$ price in the title and an AU$ price with the ~ approx symbol.

Then of course GST inclusive, which US$10.54 was.
