Hey there all, got a quick one this afternoon as part of our Westpac Wednesdays that I wanted to shout out, it's a flash sale this afternoon at Chemist Warehouse to get you stocked up if you're in need. We've got Afterpay Day (or more accurately, days) upon us starting tomorrow so we'll have some good stuff to come, so keep your eyes peeled mates.

Westpac Lounge Bonus Details

Bonus Rate: 20% Bonus Cashback at Chemist Warehouse via the Westpac Lounge
Date/Time: 15th of March 4:00pm AEDT to 8:00pm AEDT
Cashback Cap: $10 Cap

HOW TO: Access the Westpac Lounge:

  • Go to the Westpac Lounge banner in the ShopBack app or web browser
  • Link your eligible Westpac debit or credit card to your ShopBack account, which will give you access to exclusive bonus Cashback offers.
  • Shop using the same linked Westpac card and earn that sweet Cashback

GYB's Notes

  1. Bonus Cashback via the Westpac Lounge is calculated based on the Order Value, excluding any GST/Taxes, Delivery Fees, and after any promo or voucher code is applied.
  2. Bonus Cashback can take up to 2 business days to track.
  3. Bonus Cashback via the Westpac Lounge will only apply on-top of categories where Cashback is already available. Purchases that are not eligible for typical Cashback will not receive Bonus Cashback.
  4. Chemist Warehouse excludes Priority Orders and Schedule 3 (S3) medications from earning Cashback.
  5. Cashback at Chemist Warehouse does not stack with gift card redemptions, meaning the full purchase amount must be placed using your eligible linked Westpac card to be eligible.

$30 for referrer, $10 for referee after referee qualifies.

Qualifying requirements for referee: 1. Made a minimum $20 online purchase (below exclusions apply), 2. Received a minimum $10 confirmed cashback online, 3. Added banking details to account.

Users will need to fulfil the referral criteria within 180 days from referee's sign-up date to unlock cashback.

    I used to be a big Shopback fan but recently it has become more of a Westpac cashback site rather than for general users. Very disappointing.

      We still have the same offers running for our non-Westpac users, the Westpac Bonuses are on top of our own offers and don't take away from what we can offer our users that aren't part of the Westpac Lounge. Appreciate your feedback here mate, but we've got a bunch of offers for all users going live as part of Afterpay Day over the next few days.

        Not the same offers anymore. All the bonus cashbacks are purely for Westpac users. Afterpay is a big event so definitely there will be offers for everyone but on a general basis, it's not the same anymore. I feel disappointed shopping through Shopback now but just because the tracking rates are much better than cashrewards, I still use it sometimes.

    Last time I got multiple bonus cashbacks per transaction. Saved lots on Gillette razor refills.

    The Chemist warehouse guy asked me on pickup why all separate transactions…..

    @gotyourback Cashback tracked within about 45 minutes of my transaction.

    Only the base 1% tracked. Westpac 20% bonus is completely missing for all items.
    Is this normal, and if so, will there be a separate tracking email?

    Order timestamp is definitely within the promotion time window, and the full amount was paid using an eligible (and linked) WP card.

        I think the answer to our questions is point 2 in OP's description:

        Bonus Cashback can take up to 2 business days to track.

        However, I note that in past SB tracking emails Westpac bonus comes through in the same email.

      Typically I find that Westpac Bonuses shortly after the original Cashback, but can also take slightly longer. If you've not received it by the end of the week, as always I'll be more than happy to take a closer look with Westpac here.

      Hey mate, sorry for the delay there, I do find that in high order volume period Westpac Bonuses can take 1-2 business days to full track, so may be worth waiting there, I've flagged with the team regardless so that they can double check there's no issues.

          Hey mate, we've got a super high order volume at the moment and I'm seeing some users come through now saying they've received their. Regardless, I've flagged the delay with our Westpac team so they can take a closer look just in case there is an issue, so will update when I hear back.

            In the past, they came through in the same tracking email as the base rate.
