    • I just manage to place another order 2 mins ago. But I did use all different details including credit card.

      • Is it possible to use fake details? I tried changing credit card to VISA and it also got declined.

  • Bought 2x $500 gc with Westpac CC and 2x $500 gc with CBA CC under same name with no issues here.

  • I give up! Tried so many different ways but always fails.

Have you tried ordering through your mobile and not on a computer?

    • +1

      Try with mobile data

    Hey fellow OzB-ers,

Just got off the phone with CBA and understood why many of our CBA cards aren't going through.
Turns out It is CBA's card protection protocol at work. CBA cardholders just need to get in touch with them, confirming it is a genuine transaction, then CBA staff will inform you the card is all clear and you will be able to submit the transaction

CBA is swamped by this type of calls throughout the day, good thing is their call centre is actually 24/7

Hope this helps other fellow OzB-ers who have yet to checkout and score this deal : )

  • Bought two around 11am Brisbane, received at 445pm. 2 x $500 via Westpac debit card.

  • I ordered 3 hours ago and still havent received the E-gift card… I only received email of invoice only….

    • Same here, i placed an order around 3:40pm and still haven’t received gift cards. But should not worry too much, i read all comments above and everyone receives what you ordered in the end

      • Just received 2x500 gift cards finally. Took exactly 4 hours

    • +3

Took mine around 5 hours, probably just backlog

  • +6

It will be good if they did this for all discounted digital gift cards eg restaurant gift card, etc instead of running to the shops to purchase

  • +1

Thanks OP. Hard to get any discount through Apple, so 15% is decent.

  • Hi, How long does it take for the eGift card to come through? I received the invoice instantly but not the gift cards.

    • ~4 hours for me (two separate orders)

  • I bought it for gift purpose, can we buy 5 x 100 bucks worth of gift card with this 500 gift card? Does apple store allow for purchasing gift cards using gift cards? Anyone?

    • Does apple store allow for purchasing gift cards using gift cards?

      No

    • +2

Could not have you bought 5x $100 gift cards?
(And still get the 15% off?)

      • True, i just went with the easy option, my bad.

  • Still available as of 8pm.

    Got 2x$500 in 4 transactions.

    4 different cards.

Tried to use the same card on third lot and said transaction failed.

      Long day?

    • yep

  • Thanks.

Can finally upgrade my iPad mini.

    • $636.65

Cheapest price ever for iPad mini 6.

      • I am planning to get an 64GB ipad mini 6 as well. How did you manage to get the price down to $636.65?
        $829 Apple.com.au ~ 15% off = $704.65
        $801 Amazon AU (price match Apple) - 15% off = $680.85

        • +2

I bought it from the Apple education store.

          $749 less 15% is $636.65

          I bought 2 gift cards. $500 and $249

    • Thanks can finally upgrade my iPhone 3GS

  • Managed to get another 2 x $500 using the same Amex card that previously gave transaction error.
Issue disappeared after receiving the GCs of earlier orders.

  • I can't get it to work, not on my phone, not on my computer, not with different bank cards, not with incognito mode.

    • +1

Nevermind, just got it to work after ages. For people who can't get it, try turning your wifi off and using mobile data.

  • Nice… just grabbed enough to get my Watch Ultra.

Not really going to get 15% off anywhere else for Apple gear… so yeah… NICE !!!

  • Anyone having issues redeeming the codes? Got my codes in the mail and tried redeeming online only to have an “invalid code” message?

    • +1

Make sure you aren’t trying to redeem the field marked serial number.

  • Anybody else having the words payment verification come up after entering the card number then nothing else?

    • I'm having the same issue here
      . How to fix?

    • It waited a while on there and then went through.

      Just ordered 2x$500.

  • +2

I ended up calling CBA and was on hold for well over 1 hour.
The issue is that many people get fraud on cards with money spent in Coles, this means the fraud department are flagging these transactions.
After spending 2 hours on the phone I gave up but apparently you need to speak to the fraud department to get your transaction approved.

  • Used wifes NAB card and went through straight away.

    • Yes, NAB credit card worked for me easily

    • Nice one… Let the wife pay for it

  • I got 2k worth and now I need to wait 6months for the iPhone 15. Or should I just get the iPhone 14??

    • +4

      Wait for USB-C iPhone 15

    • I am chipping in towards my iphone 15 too, certainly 15 pro with USB C for me

    • I'm in the same boat…

    • 15 pro

  • +2

This is a clean deal, thanks for posting. Got 3 cards. Its amazing how this is still not sold out.

  • +2

Never felt this easy and content to get discounted Apple GCs. Solid deal.

    • +1

This deal should have come before the 8% EDU cashback.

      • +1

It would have been sweet. 15% discounted gift card + 8% cashback + free Airpods.

  • +3

This is SOOOO much easier than having to deal with Woolworths or Coles stores in person who outright refuse to sell Apple Gift Cards of any value…. in my experience, esp during the point-bonus-promos.

  • +1

Is anyone waiting a while for Invoice email too? (not the gift card emails)

    • +1

      Yep. Same boat as you.

    • +1

      Same!

    • Okay cool - fingers crossed its all good for us!

    • +1

Same, mine gave me “Bad Gateway” error after payment went through but then I refreshed and it said order successful, have not recieved any confirmation yet

    • im waiting on the invoice too 😭

  • +1

How is this still going on? Usually these deals end quickly and they run out of stock, let’s hope Apple don’t jack up the prices to compensate

  • What is the maximum I can add to my iTunes account… And what should I do with the rest just keep the card I guess?

    • What would u add to iTunes wouldn’t it be better to add to your apple account so you can use it to buy devices

    • It's not entirely clear what the maximum account balance is. There are various sites/posts that claim the maximum is $2,000, $4,999, or unlimited, however none of these are an official source.

Also there have been reports that Apple may permanently disable your account if they suspect there's any fraudulent activity involving gift cards, and it's unclear what they consider "fraudulent" or "unusual". It's best not to add too many gift cards to your account within a short period.

      • +1

its $4,999 - after this the account balance wouldn't accept any more to be redeemed. In terms of fraudulent activity just need to mindful not to redeem all your gift cards in one go because i think after a certain number of continuous redemptions it came up with msg "card already redeemed" for me even though it wasn't - you have to give it a break and start again . I have personally redeemed $4,500 worth of $20 gift cards ( 15% off - yes i know its a pain) but it was spread over a week.

      • I loaded $4,500-ish a couple of weeks back.

Most are $20 GC, best to use camera and scan

  • I purchased 3 lot of 2x500, got the tax invoice straight away, and got the cards about 3 hours. I just purchased another $3000( 3 transactions), still have not get the tax invoices yet.

    • Any Help? all transaction went through.

  • My CBA card won't work on PC or mobile >.<

    • +1

Many issues reported above with CBA, I had to use my ANZ which worked fine

    • +1

CBA has some issues, try another bank card, I tried NAB and worked

  • 25000 clicks so far, that's a few million $ worth apple products pre sold

    • Not every click leads to a transaction, especially with all of the errors people are getting with payments not going through

  • Bought M2 Mac Mini base model but switched to 16GB RAM, and iPad Air 10.9" with M1. Should make for a killer setup upgrade. Did anyone go MacBook Air over Mini?

    • Also bought a base mini, hard to pass up at $675

      • Did you go 8GB or 16GB RAM? I'm expecting mine to be my desktop for the next 7-8 years so bumped it up a bit. Will be using external storage

        • I also considered this one but finally after watched on youtube and read about comments ,i went with macbook air m2 with 16gb ram, but need to wait until 23 or 24 march for pick up for delivery :(

          • @thib: Was kind of thinking the same, but the lack of ports would annoy me. I also already have a 2019 MacBook Pro that does the job, so that helps. Mostly sit at desk anyway. Ideally would get all 3 haha

        • For a 7-8 year machine consider going even higher than 16GB but depends what you do with it. I know you've already bought it but you can always return it and order a higher config. 16 is the new 8, and 32 is the new 16 :) Of course if you just use it for light duties like email, web browsing, etc, 16 will be more than fine. If you want to do any remotely demanding workloads, and have it perform well for almost a decade, consider going for 32.

          • @saitaris: Don't think it matches up quite that way with the ARM Mac's. Everything I've seen says apart from if you're doing high res video editing even the 8GB is fine, so should be chilling with the 16

        • For 7-8 years of use it’s a no brainer to go 16gb. But I will sell and replace with an M3 once released, so just went with 8gb.

  • payments failed with several different bank credit card, it is not just Commbank, I tried 3 different card
System is so bad, how they run business by Coles

    • try via mobile data, on your phone, using no ad blockers, make sure billing details match exactly, and call up bank to ensure they haven't blocked the card.. the fraud teams run 24/7 so don't worry about the time.

  • +1

i bought one just tonight about 2 hours ago and haven't seen a confirmation email… just slightly worried…

    The payments did go through.

    • +1

Similar boat, bought mine half an hour ago and waiting for any emails to arrive… Hope yours arrives soon

      • just sliiightly nervous… but hoping yours will come through soon too

        • Whoops I responded a bit late, but just confirming that all the gift cards I ordered did arrive within a few hours :) Whew!

    • +1

i bought 3, took 4 hours for the firsrt two and 5 for the third

      • +1

their support team also replied in like 5 mins when i emailed confirming it should take that long.

        • thanks for the heads-up. So even the invoice email takes this long?

    • Can confirm, have just received the invoice email. Probably took about 4~ hours. No GC emails yet though. Hopefully it'd follow through soon.

    • Decided to go again for $500, after the problems with cba yesterday.

Payment went thru ok ( slight glitch)
      (amex)

Be interesting to see how long it takes for Invoice and then Giftcard

      • Gift card and invoice arrived via email at same time this morning

So still working ok around 1.5 hours ago.

  • Payment doesn't go through now. Perhaps OOS

    • I'd bet on that being an issue with your card rather than OOS given the previous payment issues everyone else has had

    • +1

just bought an extra, still working for me

  • CBA went ok one time
    Not the second though

  • How can I add it to my Apple account so I can use it in a year on the apple education store?
Or should I keep it and redeem it at the time of purchase?

    • Keep it and redeem in checkout later. Means you could use it in store then if you change your mind.
