A decent lens to be sure, however I think the Sigma beats it in every respect, price included
Are you talking about the V1 or V2? I would agree with you for the most part on the V1 (though funnily enough I got my V1 new for a lower price than the Sigma) but not the V2…
Yeah I think this might be the V1 of the lens you are referring to (which I have) but the v2 is better and I've got my upgraded copy on order at the moment but I did consider the Sigma but went the newer Sony v2 over it…

Yeah defiantley worth a look into, the new v2 I think you might be happy with… v1 was 'ok' and I've enjoyed it but was too much for the price at the time… now it's reduced I guess it's ok but v2 is nicer espesially at this reduced price and if you can also grab 12% cashback it's worth looking into… Good luck with is and happy shooting!
i bought the sigma 24-70 f2.8 with 10% off JB giftcards and it came down to ~$1460 iirc. I think it's definitely more value than the GM lens
The new 20-70mm is also an option with cash back and amex you can get it down to $1.3k.
F4 vs F2.8 sure but also much smaller / lighter.

not sure if historic low but pretty good deal considering my 24-70mm GM 1 was $2114.80 from 2021

i search for the lens by model number and look around on google. those guys had it the cheapest so i got sony to price match.
digitalcamerawarehouse has been around for a while, their store is on canterbury road from memory.

I thought I got a good price and finally received mine yesterday after ordering late Feb:

You must have got the last one in the country.
I ordered from Sony before this deal was live and now the date has been pushed back to the end of June! Wish I had pulled the trigger earlier.
Missed this, and the 12% cash rewards is back down to 2%. If anyone is having buyers remorse or finds another good deal on this lense let me know!
If only I had $2k spare…
