Reduced down from $39.99 - surely had to be ok for the kids (or even the adults wanting to block out the multiple competing noise of kids iPads)!

  At that price you really gotta wonder where the corners were cut, not sure if I would be too comfortable with batteries that close to my head from a $10 device.

  I'm pretty sure this model (maybe under different brand name) was sold previously in Aldi

    Nope was sold under the same name. Maybe they've switched to using Bauhn however for newer products.
