  • Just over $326 in Jan https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/752087 , thanks for sharing none the less OP.

  • Any idea what the B stands for in this model? Is that just because its a refurb?

    Black colour maybe

  • anyone have an oppinion on these vs apple cans?

Always thought the apple cans were amazing from what i tested in store but have not been able to compare both next to each other.
obviously one is like half the price

You'll get a lot of subjective opinions. Here are some differences I think will be important to everyone:

      1. The carry case on both of these products are awful in their own way. XM5's is very bulky, and the apple's look like a bra/diaper. The XM5 does a better job of protecting it however.
      2. The Airpods max require you to have an iphone full stop. There is no going around this.
      3. The transparency mode is MILES ahead on the airpods max. Nothing like it on any headset in the market.
      4. ANC is near identical. Slightly edged out by Sony.
      5. Battery life ~20hrs apple, ~30 hrs sony

Sound is subjective. No commenting on that.

I had the Apple one. I love it except for the fact that it's too heavy and chunky. It took over 1/3 of my carry on luggage

    • I have the these Sonys, really like them.

  • Discount code isn't working for me

    • Select after pay for payment method

  • Anyone had failed to place the order with AfterPay, like me ? the first error came from AfterPay page wherein just a general failure message; after several tries, eBay would block the checkout …

    • +1

Check afterpay, they have an upper limit on how much you can spend on a purchase. Might be bugging.

      • They seem not have any customer support or service; the contact method on their website is just to leave my contact method and complaint … this really sucks …

        • I think the reason would be AfterPay has disabled this promotion and EBay has not updated it on their end, according to the following error response from the browser console:

          {status: 403, text: '{"status":403, "message":"API Key has been disableā€¦rt for more information", "timestamp":1678947049}', attempt: 1}

And according to the selling speed, I recon this deal would be gone soon … I could opt for another payment method; yet this $60+ loss bite my heart really bad … I would blame this on both EBay and AfterPay …

          • @x-shawn: And also, 429 - too many requests on the page console of Afterpay … maybe the root cause is the heavy traffic on the so-called AfterPay DAY … poor system …

I had afterpay refused here and there for no reason. There was no way to contact their support directly. It seems that they have some sort of internal risk valuation even though I still have almost full available fund.

      • yeah … AP sucks … the above sale has been out of stock anyway …
