  • spend the extra $15 and get the 13600K version with the iGPU

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/175457281971 - $441.15

    • but based on benchmarks 13600k & kf perform exactly the same. You really only miss out on integrated GPU by picking KF model which doesn't really mean much in real life performance from what I've seen.

      • It can come in handy later on,

Transcoding is the main one, for a bit extra
Some apps also utilise the iGPU like video editing
Handy to have a display out without having to plug in a GPU

        • I guess it can be handy in niche situations, but comes down to everyone's budget :) Most of us jump on a 15% sale, but K model adds another 10% on top

  • +3

Cheaper from Scorptec at $412.25 (only 5 left).

    • good find, doesnt even come up in my ebay search….weirddd

      • Yeah they're listing items in wrong categories for some reason (they have this under 'Other Computers & Networking').

  • i5 13500 is $356.15 if you dont overclock:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/175567779321

    • +2

13500 is tweaked Alder Lake silicon, so more akin to 12th gen.
13600K and KF is true Raptor Lake silicon with generational improvements.

      • 12/13th gen Non-K Intel have their System Agent Voltage locked.

what it means is getting 3600 memory to work is a luck in the draw.

3200 always work, Depends on your luck 3466/3500 work for most, and less than half can hit 3600, and the super lucky dude could end up with 3733/3800.

        not worth it.

        • yeah. all in all not worth $50 difference at all

  • nice price - bought one from Amazon last week for $50 more

    • well i bough this in the morning and its now even cheaper :(

      • +1

Just realised amazon has free returns, so bought one here and will return that one as havent used yet

  • +2

    It's now even cheaper. $415.65
