So if you're like 99% of all other owners of. Viomi S9 that has a dud battery then rest assured that this Kogan robot vacuum battery is identical to the one in your Viomi S9 and can get it up and running again. Just got mine delivered today and I can confirm it's the same capacity, plug, and also manufactured by BYD just like the original Viomi one.

$36.99 with free delivery for Kogan First members seems like a bargain given the cost price of the cells that make up this battery pack. Local Australian stock too and was pretty quickly delivered.

    Got one, hopefully will last a lot longer then the original one, and if not at least it has a year of local warranty.

        Mine lasted around a year and a half and now it will just die halfway though without going back to charge, I believe it has something to do with the capacitors?

        When i place it back on the dock it says its only used half the battery but is unable to go.

          It has a 4s2p configuration.

          In my case one pair of parallel cells had a failed cell and needed to be replaced.

          Cells are LG ones so decent quality

    The losconcoer one I bought from AliExpress has a higher capacity and has been working well for more than 12 months.

      I don't trust China capacities. Just like the projector lumens ratings. All fake.

          My point is that random Chinese companies quote ridiculous capacity figures. I'd only trust mainstream brands. Yes all batteries are pretty much made in China these days.

    I love my S9… But the battery life is definitely getting worse…
    So getting this just in case…

    Is the connector pin the same?
    Or will I need to cut the original connector and attach it to the new battery?

      It's identical. The label is slightly different but I put that down to different printing runs

    Mine is also dead, not charging. It's BYD battery. Bought replacement one 2 weeks ago from AliExpress, but haven't got delivered yet!

    I just don't understand why the battery just broken down easily when it's BYD, biggest battery manufacturer. I only run twice a week for more than a year so about roughly 120-140 charging cycle.
