The Restaurant Choice Gift Card can be used at the following merchant category locations: Eating Places and Restaurants (5812), Hotels, Caterers (5811), Drinking Places (Alcoholic Beverages), Bars,
Taverns, Cocktail lounges, Nightclubs and Discotheques (5813) Fast Food Restaurants (5814) Motels & Resorts, Central Merchant (7011), Amusement Parks, Circuses, Carnivals, and Fortune Tellers (7996), Membership Clubs (Sports, Recreation, Athletic), Country Clubs, and Private Golf Course (7997).
The Merchant Category Code (MCC) identifies the type of service a business provides. If the MCC listed above does not match the retailer’s category, then the transaction will decline.

Is the physical Card required to be used at the EFTPOS pin pad to authorise my purchase when using a Restaurant Choice Gift Card?
The restaurant must use the pin pad provided when redeeming a Restaurant Choice Gift Card for goods or services as directed by the POS terminal.
If you’ve already added your Restaurant Choice Gift Card to your mobile wallet or exchange it for an eGift card, then you will not require your physical card.
How do I add my Restaurant Choice Digital eGift Card to my mobile wallet?
Restaurant Gift Cards can be added to your Apple, Samsung, or Google mobile wallet.
To add your Restaurant Choice Gift Card to your mobile wallet please download the My Prepaid Centre app from the Google Play or Apple App store and follow the prompts.

Great news, I've been waiting for some Airbnb deals to pay off a trip starting next week.
Is there a limit of how many Airbnb gift cards you can use to make payment or do you just add them all to your account and the cost is subtracted as you make bookings? Never paid with gift cards before!
Doesn't look like it. I've been adding them to my account as various deals have been coming up.
Note that to pay off trips it will wan't to pay any additional balance (over the gift card amount) at the time. Due to this I have been waiting till closer to the payment date to apply the gift cards to the trip.

This is what it says at the top of both mobile and desktop website, so it virtually works at every restauanrant or bar
Not sure if it refers to physical/digital
Refers to both but digital can go up to $500 limit while physical max is $100
Some stores don't have EFTPOS machines and use those square wireless payments so physical won't work there because you can't swipe
But then again digital sometimes don't work and I find it usually to be places using Square
Has anyone purchased the Restaurant Choice gift card in the old packaging (I think it's the one that says valid at 900+ restaurants) and can confirm whether or not it's restricted to their list of restaurants or can be used anywhere?
Yes I bought some physical cards last year when they were restricted, and have used them at various places since (cafes, random restaurants etc) with no problems since the change.

Just a reminder that physical Restaurant Choice gift cards work differently to the digital version. The physical version are restricted to a list of restaurants as listed on the Restaurant Choice gift card website
