Is this the closest thing to a modern day Quattro? (or whatever they were called.) Damn I was sad when they discontinued those over a decade ago.

modern day Quattro discontinued those over a decade ago.

      What's-a matter you?

    • Not like a Quattro but these are really nice

      • Which flavour is your favourite?

They need to bring Quattro's back

      • That was great

    • I’d like to know what was their reasoning behind discontinuing the best tasting biscuits to ever exist

    6 biscuits? 120g????
why the heckin flip is the box so big then?
do these premium biscuits require additional air surrounding them to preserve their premium-ness???

why the heckin flip is the box so big then?

      carbon credits…

Yes it makes it look premium.

when you buy products these days you are actually buying the 'perception' of the product i believe
the indulgent and wasteful packaging allow a nice large surface area for the highly stylised photography and design to influence your purchasing decision
packaging is basically advertising….which is crazy to think that youre voluntarily paying more for advertising and mistakenly perceiving it to be 'quality'
how often do you look at the packaging after and think….the end product was nothing like the visual presentation on the package?

    • +3

Marketing. Box stands out on the shelf among all the other biscuits. A "premium" product.

Every product is competing for retailer's limited shelf space & position… And our attention.

(Past client in my consultancy was senior sales rep for a major international food manufacturer selling to Coles & Woolies - learnt a lot.)

    • Social distancing within the box.

  • was only 2 packets left at my woolies in st kilda …..
