Omg that VB cologne - haha

Bleu de Chanel if you can afford it. Obviously gets relatively cheaper the more you buy.
Otherwise, if youre a sandalwood guy, Hugo Boss range (try and stick with one of the original versions)
Polo range - old school but long lasting. More citrus top notes.
If you want something fresh, Armani Gio (smells like toilet fresheners to me personally).

Chemist warehouses are generally pretty good value, as much as i hate fakes/replicas, Armaf is doing some stellar releases - even if they smell exactly like the more designer brands…
Given the average bottle of perfume/cologne is something like $3.50-$5.00 to make and fill the mark ups are rather excessive.

Man I feel for you if your wife won't gift you decent perfume (I dont mean to incite marital issues of course).
There was a decent promo not long ago for the Nautica cologne at Chemist Warehouse - link below. It was selling for $15 but now its $30. I think it smells decent.

Designer ones are always going to be more expensive but they are longer lasting.
Try David Beckham ones. Very affordable at Chemist Warehouse.- 0

Will your wife not gift it to you because she doesn't like you wearing any?

Try somewhere like ALT or the Dupe store
https://www.thedupespot.com.au/collections/male-duplications
They take inspiration from brand scents and sell similar fragrances at a fraction of the price

why people use perfume ?
Specially men ?- -1

People like things that smell good, people liked to be liked, and good perfumes/colognes are formulated to smell good when mixed with natural human odours that are produced over the day.

most females perfume smells like a$$ though, whats wrong with a nice squirt of deoderant instead of smelling like skunk piss

If the deodorant is scented then I guess it's basically perfume. I like perfume that smells like fruit personally, especially on men.
