      For me they said they cannot price match Amazon for some reason , I got space grey for $1589 and used 15% off the gc.

      They can. If you have loaded you gc to your account already, call 133-622 and ask them to price match and they will place the order on your behalf deducting the balance from your account. You’ll just need to collect it instore

        Called them , after sales could only do 10% max. So it came to $1575 dollar . To fully price match advised to call pre sales team , verify and then return and buy again . Bit of hassle

          I rang them to match jb hifi and refund the difference , they happily agreed to price match up to 10% and they are giving me back the difference . They did tell me no Amazon price match though

            @NPB: Just to clarify did you manage to get a refund of the difference without having to return and rebuy? I called and that’s what I was told to do but when I went to the store they said they’d wipe the phone before I could buy it back

              @disaronno: I did not return the phone. I rang over the phone and they send invoice last night .
              Just to let you know , I was given max 10% off to RRP.
              For example i requested them to price match Harvey normal $1649 , I bought the phone for $1589.
              Later I rang them to March jb hifi’s price $1529.
              They told me they cannot price match that price but can do max of $1574 , which I agreed . They refunded the amount.
              They told me to call sales team if they can price match jb hifi price and if that is possible advised to return and rebuy. I did not go this way for another $45 savings.

    Just to flag that the battery life on iPhone 14 Pro isn’t that great. I was using 13 Pro Max and moved to 14 Pro, and found clear difference in battery life. However, 14 Pro Max battery life is fine.

    JB has both the space black and the gold at $1549. If you are price matching with Apple, it will be $1575 due to 10% cap on discount - still works out to be $1339 with the gift card deal.

      Jb just increased the price by $100 and is now selling it for $1649. I saw your comment, confirmed the price on their website and then decided to price match it after work but unfortunately they have increased the price now presumably because it was a pricing error.

      EDIT: tried price matching with amazon and it worked. Btw deep purple is also 1549 on amazon now.

      Yes post sales team is underway to refund me up to 10% only . They advised me to call pre sales team and see if they can fully price match. In that case advised me to return and re buy .

    Been noticing a spate of minor discounting on the iPhone 14 line recently, which I don't think I've ever seen in previous years. Or is it just me?

      It’s happened before. Discounts starts 6 months after release. With the new model being another 6 months away iPhones 14s are now in the middle of their life cycle.

      This year though the discounts seems a little bit larger, I think they may have more phones in stock because of the December 22 delays when due to the lockdowns in china iPhones 14 pros had a 3-4 weeks wait list which may have put off some people from buying. Apple don’t sell previous generation pros, only retailers do. So they may want to sell as many pros as they can before the next one is out

      TLDR: apple has plenty of stock / wants to boost sales
