Go read the reviews. It's an amazing game.

      • -2

Ok, so let's suppose I give the game a chance, and buy it based on the reviews. Can I then sell it if I decide that I don't like it?

        • -1

          Just go kill yourself

    • +7

lol. where have you been for the last 10 months?

        • +22

OMG me too, I just beat Super Mario 64, I'm so indie.

        • +1

i could never the the last 2 stars :(

        • +10

I reckon, eh MrZ. Fuck dude. I'm so underground too. Let's not be friends. Because being friends is conformist.

        • +1

i beat mike tyson in punch out(Im lying) but still indier then you :)

Finally I have met the hippest person on the planet. I have awaited this day for many moons. I bask in the incredible glory of your independent awesomeness. My senses are overcome. My eyes are melting and my ears bleeding due to how incredible you are in every conceivable way. My feeble adjectives do not do your incredible sense of sovereignty justice. Little minded people strive to achieve oneness, I strive to achieve "MrZ-ness".

I hope that one day I will be able to follow you as you walk on water. And by water I mean the blood of the conformist sheep of this world. Scientists at CERN work day and night to discover the God particle when the God particle has already been found - it is you, MrZ. It is you that single-handedly hold together of the universe with strings of autonomy. I will remember this day as the day my life become complete. I will remember this day as the day I met MrZ - the most incredible life-form our world has ever seen.

You have too much time on your hands!

        • +1

Not following trends is a trend.
Just face it, we're all conformists of some kind whether you want to admit it or not.

        • Farmville is not a game.

    • +2

If you enjoyed Morrowind and Oblivion then there is a good chance you will like Skyrim as well.

      • +1

There is a significant crowd of people who liked Morrowind but not Oblivion. Levelled loot and monsters being the reason. It doesn't make sense for enemies to become harder to beat when you level up.

        • I'm sure there's a mod for that. One of the great things about this series. Besides I enjoyed both games. Probably Morrowind a bit more than Oblivion but in the end both were very enjoyable from my view.

      • -1

I don't know anything about any of these games.

    • +7

I used to be bitter like you… then I took an arrow in the knee.

    • +3

Let me guess… someone stole your sweetrole?

      • That would imply he used to be sweet, not bitter.

    • Lol, for a game like this.. A demo version isn't a very realistic idea.. They wouldn't be able to show off the game.

Can't believe you're even questioning whether or not to buy it for 30 bucks. But If you really want to try it without buying first, pirate it - then buy it after you're happy with it. (note: I didn't say "if youre happy" =P)

  • Excellent game, if only it came with a 4 player option for more epic battles!

    • +3

There are some Skyrim multi-player mods in the works. Gotta love the modding community

  • $30 on AU steam store, that's pretty reasonably priced. Pity the DLC is $25!

  • +4

Looks like they're charging Aussies the same price as Americans now. It's about damn time

Except for the DLC, yanks pay $19.99 while we pay $24.99

  • Awesome find been thinking about getting this game for a while now.

  • +2

ffs just bought this last night for $29 and i wont receive it for 2 weeks

    • +4

Woohoo! In that case, you saved 99 cents. Nice! :P

  • +1

Dawnguard is finally here for pc too!

    • Finally some werewolf and vampire perks upgrades

  • This game is so long I don't think I'll ever finish it.

    • +1

If you rush the main quest it can be done in under 8 hours. of course half the fun of Skyrim is dragon shouting people off cliff faces and putting paralyzing arrows in peoples knees, so why bother finishing the game?

    • +1

agree, i want to get my money's worth. i'm not going to rush through… but the number of quests are overloading my indecisive mind. eg. which chick should i marry????? i can't sleep with all of them!

      :(

      • I'm sure there's a mod that allows polygamy in Skyrim…

oh wait, there is.. If only real life were that easy.

    • The whole fun of the default campaign in this game is all the side quests and world events etc. But modding is the main thing after that. No idea why they released it for console when that is their main focus -.-

  • Steam/GMG etc. are the future game distribution for consoles. It only makes sense

Plus companies love it because there is no 2nd hand game market, more sales, more profits <insert muhahaha here>

  • Bought it during the Summer Sales :(
Ah well. I wonder if Dawnguard will drop in price, or become available elsewhere, cheaper…

  • Kinda want that pack. Commander Keen!

  • Hmmmm let me do the math….
$30 - two weeks pay to play game while in the honeymoon period - girlfriend - fitness + migraine, bad back, bad neck and lack of sleep due to excessive play =

    I'd do it.
Oh wait, I did, when it came out!

  • Great game, but the load times are insanely long…

  • +2

    You are over-encumbered. checks inventory

    HDMI Cable (5)
    Fuel Voucher (6)
    Shampoo Sample (9)
    Camera Lens Mug (7)
    etc etc

  • im very picky with what games i play, but i can say skyrim was an experience. the mod's available only make it better. definitly worth the $30

  • Got my steam key for the same price back in Feb…

  • Seems to have expired already?

    • Yep expired - back to $45
