No In-app purchase.

Description from the app:
Remote mouse, keyboard, and media controls. Perfect for controlling Mac or PC from your couch or bed.

App offers remote control for Mac or PC, with a mouse, keyboard, and media controls. Great if you connect your computer to the TV or projector, to control from a sofa or bed.

In 2013, I created this app to control my Mac Mini connected to a big-screen TV in my living room. In 2016 I quit my job and became an indie developer, and now my sole focus is on building my apps. The app has been downloaded more than 2,000,000 times over the years and has favorable reviews.

    +1 for no IAP.
    It’s ruining games and apps.

  • perfect app for when I finally go back to iPhone this year.

  • What is IAP? And will this work with an Apple TV?

      In App Purchase.

If your Apple tv and iPhone are on the same network, there is a remote built into the iPhone ios already. Just swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPhone. There's a remote icon (and if not, there's a way to add that icon).

This one controls a mac or pc (not apple TV)

      • Thanks mate, just got one yesterday.

  • highly recommend this app, performs very well and has many useful functions.

  • Requires $12.99 subscription?

  • I don't understand the method used here - thought most other apps allow remote access. How different is the helper app?

"Unfortunately, it can’t be hosted on the Mac App Store or Windows App Store due to limitations imposed by Apple and Microsoft. The app simulates user keyboard and mouse input to control the computer remotely, and apps in the stores are not allowed to do this."

  • How does this compare to Chrome Remote Desktop?
Edit: oh, different use case (mine = headless server)

  • be careful. IAP @14.99

Had it from last time. Couldn’t even remember I had grabbed it.

  • Unless you can firewall per app on iOS to operate only on specific LAN IP (implicitly or explicitly blocking the gateway), then I wouldn't trust anything like this, as it could easily proxy your personal data residing on your PC to some remote server, who knows; being security minded.
