  • Hmmm very tempted for the price, but I do like the features/layout of the 5108 better….

  • Nice color

  • Bought this keyboard from PCCG a few months ago, works perfectly and sounds great, would definitely recommend even at MSRP

  • are these quiet or clicky switches?

    • Linear switches (not clicky)

    Sorry is this mechanical keyboard?

  • +1

Don't quite like the layout with removed mid-section.

    • It's not for everyone, but the layout is better for gaming and space saving without losing the keypad.

  • I don't really know much about mech keyboards. Is this any good?

Akko keyboards are generally regarded as reputable, good quality, stylish/good looking, and represent great value for what they offer.
My friend has an Akko, I bought one for my niece, I would consider getting one (I have a keychron and a group buy keyboard).

      • +3

Agreed, I have the Akko 3084B and got one for a friend. Great build quality, excellent entry into mechanical keyboards. I lubed mine (got a cheap kit off Amazon) and now it's * chef's kiss *

Who on earth thought it was a good idea to keep the num keys but remove the Home and End keys? Do they people who create these keyboards do anything other than play games?

    • +1

      Just remap the keys 🤷

      • How does the remapping work? Does it get saved onto the keyboard? Or do you need a desktop software running at all times?

        • +2

Should be saved on the keyboard.

      • -2

Unless I'm wrong, real remapping only works for anything that is QMK/VIA supported when it comes to custom keyboards which this keeb isn't.

        Alternative is Powertoys or Autohotkey.

  • already have keychron q5. but this is tempting

    • +5

      Keep using the Q5

Bought this myself earlier this week. Funny I had been contemplating for a few days whether or not to buy this as I already own a few mechanical keyboards, and the moment this was posted on Ozbargain it's sold out in 5 hours.

  • Anyone opened this keyboard up yet? Mine only has the foam pad not the silicone pad as some youtube video / teardown has suggest

    • +1

was curious so i pulled off a switch. It is foam inside.
