Logitech G PRO Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (Black) $98 Delivered @ ltsaustralia store eBay

190

Clicky switches as far as I can tell. Next best is about $140 so not a bad deal, possibly cheaper with ebay codes.

    No number pad. No buy.

thats an odd thing to say. i only buy keyboards without the numpad and if no one was buying them, they wouldn't be selling them

Just use your head to add numbers together, silly.

some people needs to input lots of numbers in spreadsheets.

I bought a TKL keyboard for the first time recently and I don't know if I like it. Having done a lot of data entry in the past I get annoyed having to type numbers using the top row even for something like 2FA.

          • @ozbs25: yeap not to mention pin number login to windows would annoying to without the numpad
since windows will regularly go into lockdown mode for security

          • @ozbs25: You could get a numpad like this.

            • @Ghost47: I think for now I'll just put up with no keypad. If and when I need to type a lot of numbers like tax time, I can always use a different keyboard or yeah get a separate keypad.

          • @ozbs25: A seperate wireless keypad can be really nice; I have one and I think the setup is more ergonomic than having it attached to the keyboard. They're pretty cheap.

            I have this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/d/new-microsoft-number-pad/8…

        • i only use tkl keyboards at home since my desk space is limited. i work on spreadsheets a lot (have to see how much money i'm bleeding because of ozbargain). i've become quite comfortable touch-typing the numbers in the top row. people can adapt…

          • @tdw: The reason you didn't get a 40% keyboard and adapt is the same reason some people don't get keyboards without a numpad - why would you choose to "adapt" and make life harder without needing to?

            • @DiscountForThee: i learned to touch type with top row in school and then lost that skill. the laptops i've been using for 20+ years didn't have numpads and i figured it was quicker for me in the long run to be able to touch type the top row. and it's not just numbers — the secondary chars like !^&*() are used a lot in coding as well.

and i might even get that adorable 40% keyboard some day ^_^

Terrible keyboard, developed issues with 9+ key switches in just a year.

    • Have also had multiple issues with Logitech G switches, they're not very satisfying or high quality either
