  I have the 500GB models of these (no fp) and they're brilliant. I use them to make uncompressed backups of my media on my phone by directly connecting to the USB C port.

  Picked one up Sunday afternoon when by chance I noticed the red and blue versions were $179!

  This is a bargain, but the only remaining units in stock will be gone by the time I get paid on Wednesday. Looks like box redesign might be the reason or removal of the fingerprint reader might be making this model redundant??

  Hey Samsung, how about dropping the price of the 2TB units? I can vouch for both T5 and T7 1TB models as I have a half and half mix of six (whoops) I mean 7 now and if you have USB-C Gen 3.2 these things fly and we are back to sneakernet. If you are lucky enough to even have 10GE - these WILL be faster. Supported to a point by the Samsung Magician software. Definitely would recommend at that price if you can find stock.

  This is a strange one, just about every recent posting of T7s or portable SSDs run-out within hours, yet alone days. Perhaps Officeworks are clearing out all stock.
