I've got a few Wyze products, they work well for what you're paying. Having the ability to include an SD card for continuous recording is an added bonus. I saw this one on sale direct from Wyze, with free shipping to Australia (first time I've seen that). It's the newer of pan cameras which works outside and has a lot of improved features. Also comes with an AU Plug.

    I have the v1, bought from eBay. At that time they wouldn't send the AU plug like they do now. It was a good bang for the buck. I do recommend.

    v3 still uses micro USB though.

      I find that this is the only time I'm still ok with micro usb. It's only used as power source and micro usb cable is cheaper than usb c.

    Sorry really noob question here - but if I want to use this as a pet cam so I can check in on my dog will I need a subscription service?

      Nope, you can log in and view live. You can also scrub back through the timeline if you've got an SD card in there, so you can go back a couple days, depending on your SD card size. You can also talk through it to your pet, chirping, barking or meowing

        Yes, works fine for remote live viewing and with the SD card you get continuous or motion recording.

        If you want to go one step further you can pay for the subscription for the cloud recording, this also adds some smart functions such as dog detection

    WYZE Cam Pan v3 Indoor/Outdoor IP65 How are these compared to other wireless cams?
    I’m looking for something that I can lay on something and zoom around the room to keep an eye on things and probably I’m a few areas of house.
    Is there better out there I don’t want to fit walls etc or outside just inside only.
    Going overseas for a month later in year even though house has alarm im worried in leaving it on and it goes off while away with nobody to deal with it.
    Also house has cameras all around it but owners has never let use it either it’s a nightmare for home to pass on to us to use or maybe not working but the deterrent is there to possibly make people go elsewhere.

    I wanted someone like these I can place around house inside just to keep an eye on things while away I believe I can view this from my phone yes while away? And I believe recording to sd card also.
    Does it your trigger your phone to tell you something is going on ie someone is in house in real time etc.
    Yes ideally having be able to use owners outdoors cams would have been nice but not sure what the story is in them.

    Has there been better deals on these as no immediate rush to get them if they’re on special sometime in very near future.
    When it’s mention it comes now with au plug where do these come from why it comes with au plug.

    I’m just curious if there is something better for similarly money or less.
    Yes it not just be for our trip away but just good to had ongoing as well.

    But something to just check on phone now and again and record and being able to place anywhere around inside house it main reasons.
