1 Gift cards from commercial promotions like this usually have short expiry date of few months.
2 Inflation / price rises means you should get more for your $5 now.

I am not going to Coles before 31.3. because I live in Whoop whoop. You cannot these cards for an online order at my local coles.

I couldn't get my reward to scan at Woolworths. I didn't know it had to be added to Google Wallet first. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to use it. -_-'
Curious how is it different, is it not the same barcode? I've yet to try but have added mine to google wallet.
The barcode numbers look the same to me. Maybe the website barcode was too blurry or maybe both I and the person at the self-service kiosk did it wrong. I have a feeling the four digits after the ** are a passcode.
Yes correct that is the pin. I scanned the barcode and it included the pin as well. Looking at my older woolies giftcards (19 digits) I have a feeling the pin is not meant to be a part of the barcode…. Probably why it didn't work?
@umoddbro: I managed to use it today. Part payment, chose gift card, beep, put in code, continue to pay with bank card.
These things really need to just work with a beep. Still $5 is $5 :)
Easiest way is to add it to Everyday Pay in the Everyday Rewards app. The first 19 numbers are the gift card number, ignore the 2 asterisks, the last 4 numbers are the pin
Scan the barcode, it enters the number perfectly, then manually add the PiN.
Signed up last night but got the redemption error. Received a notification from SnackBack this morning telling me I still had a reward on my account to redeem. Redeemed it, spent it on groceries at Coles after work this afternoon.
Wish I had signed up more accounts now.
I just refreshed my mobile browser tab that still had the PHP error from yesterday and low and behold it worked this time - successfully redeemed $5 woollies card and added to iPhone wallet. Might only work for those that signed up before it reached the sign up limit today.

Signed up an hour ago. Saw the $5 offer. Couldn't redeem - quota exhausted.
However the $5 disappeared from rewards later.
Haven't participated in previous offers so not sure if I can delete account and start again using same number and email when offer is back on.This happened to me yesterday. When I logged in again this morning, the $5 offer reappeared.

No true of all Woolies Gift cards!! Just retail ones we buy.
Commercial gift cards like this usually have a short use by date. Woolies ones I receive in Econnex energy Deals expire 90 days after received.
